𝐌𝐎𝐀 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲: 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

On March 10, 2026, the Department of Health – Mega Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DOH–MEGA DATRC) officially held a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing Ceremony with IVG Educational Institute Inc. to establish a partnership aimed at providing skills training opportunities for our residents.

Following the signing ceremony, representatives from IVG Educational Institute Inc. conducted an ocular visit to the designated training areas and facilities within DOH–MEGA DATRC in preparation for the implementation of the training programs.

Through this collaboration, IVG Educational Institute Inc. will provide TESDA-aligned training programs for our residents. These training opportunities are designed to equip residents with practical skills that can support their reintegration into society and future employment opportunities as they continue their recovery journey.

This collaboration reflects the continued commitment of DOH–MEGA DATRC to a holistic rehabilitation approach, recognizing that recovery includes empowering individuals through education, livelihood training, and opportunities for a productive and meaningful future.

𝑭𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑𝒔, 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔.

On 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, an ocular visit was conducted at Atanacio Farm to explore potential training opportunities for the residents—opening doors for growth, skills development, and future livelihood.

On 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the owner of Atanacio Farm together with their staff conducted a reciprocal ocular visit to the facility, strengthening ties and reinforcing a shared commitment to empowerment and collaboration.

On February 20, 2026, the 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑶𝒊𝒍-𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝑷𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒖𝒕 𝑩𝒖𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑 guided participants with little to no prior experience in creating healthy, preservative-free peanut butter—covering every step from roasting and processing to achieving a smooth, creamy peanut butter. 🥜

The hands-on session highlighted hygiene, consistency, and quality while equipping participants with practical skills that can be applied for small-scale production, promote sustainable practices, and inspire new livelihood opportunities. 🌱✨

What a sweet and productive day at our 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴! 🎉💛

Participants eagerly took part in hands-on polvoron making—learning the proper process, techniques, and presentation. Beyond production, they also explored the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, including costing, pricing, budgeting, and simple marketing strategies. 💡📈

The training was filled with learning, creativity, teamwork, and inspiration. Skills were strengthened, ideas were sparked, and confidence was built—turning simple ingredients into meaningful income opportunities! 💪✨

On January 23–24 & 26, 2026, we held a Basic Computer Literacy Training for our residents as part of our Livelihood and Training Program. Many of them had little to no experience with computers, but by the end of the training, they had learned new skills, gained confidence, and discovered the basics of navigating the digital world. 💻✨

Through programs like this, we continue to support our residents’ journey toward self-reliance, personal growth, and a successful return to the community—one new skill at a time. 🌱
