𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐌𝐔𝐌 𝗪𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄 | 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟭𝟬

Under the second tranche of Wage Order No. RX-24, the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-X (RTWPB-X) approved a ₱14 wage increase for both Category 1 and Category 2 workers in Northern Mindanao, effective 01 May 2026.

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) Region X, through Wage Order No. RX-24, provides for a wage increase in Northern Mindanao, including Iligan City, bringing the daily minimum wage to ₱500 upon full implementation.

The increase is implemented in tranches and covers establishments under Wage Category I, as part of the government’s continuing efforts to improve workers’ welfare amid rising costs of living.

In celebration of the 𝟏𝟐𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐲, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐗 – 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐄–𝐗 𝐋𝐃𝐍𝐏𝐅𝐎) successfully conducted a TUPAD (Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers) payout at the 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐚 𝐐. 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐲𝐦𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐦), 𝐏𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐓𝐮𝐛𝐨𝐝, 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞.

A total of 157 beneficiaries received financial assistance amounting to ₱7,290.00 each, corresponding to 15 days of community-based employment. This compensation is based on the prevailing minimum wage of 486 per day, providing vital support to workers and their families in the municipality.

The payout serves as a tribute to the hard work of our local labor force, ensuring that disadvantaged workers receive just compensation while contributing to the development and cleanliness of their community.

This achievement highlights the strong partnership between DOLE-X Lanao del Norte Provincial Field Office, the Public Employment Service Office, and participating employers in delivering immediate job opportunities to applicants.
