Last Sunday, our little ones learned the story of Job and were reminded that even when life gets difficult, we can always trust God and remain faithful to Him. 🙏✨

"The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love."
— Jonah 4:2

This 2nd Week of Sunday, we learned about Jonah: Obedience and God's Mercy from Jonah 1–4.

Through Jonah's story, the children learned that obeying God is important. Jonah first ran away from God's command, but God gave him another chance to obey and do what was right.

The children also learned about God's mercy and forgiveness. When the people of Nineveh listened to Jonah and turned away from their wrong ways, God showed them mercy. Jonah's story reminds us that God's love and mercy are for everyone. Even when we make mistakes, we can turn back to God, trust Him, and choose to obey Him. 💙

JULY WEEK 4 RECAP ❤️

Today, our Children’s Ministry held a special Retention Activity to review everything we learned throughout July—from the leadership of King David, the wisdom of Solomon, to the power of God shown through Elijah!

"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." — James 1:5

This 2nd Week of Sunday, we learned about Solomon: Wisdom and Worship from 1 Kings 3–11.

Through Solomon's life, they discovered that true wisdom comes from God. When God gave Solomon the chance to ask for anything, he chose wisdom so he could lead God's people well. God was pleased with his humble heart and blessed him with wisdom, riches, and honor.

The children also learned an important lesson from the later part of Solomon's life. Although he was the wisest king, he slowly turned away from God by listening to wrong influences and worshiping other gods. His story reminds us that having wisdom is not enough—we must continue to love God, obey Him, and worship Him faithfully every day.

☀️ First Sunday of July at Kid's Church! ☀️

Kids learned about King David. He was a good leader, but he also made mistakes. Good news: God forgives us when we sincerely say sorry. 🙏

❤️ Wrapping up June with grateful hearts!❤️
Today was all about remembering! The kids did a recap of our lessons on Samuel, Saul, and David. It is such a joy to watch them grow in their faith and see God’s truth taking root in their lives.

Sunday School was filled with fun, learning, and reminders of God’s greatness as we learned about David and Goliath 🪨✨

Just like David, may our children always remember that with God, no giant is too big to face. 💛

"Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams." — 1 Samuel 15:22

Today, the kids learned about Saul, Israel's first king, and the importance of obeying God completely. Through Saul's story, they discovered that God desires not just partial obedience, but hearts that are willing to follow His instructions fully.

Saul's life reminds us that God blesses those who choose to follow Him wholeheartedly. Obedience may not always be easy, but it shows our love, trust, and faith in God.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our Children's Ministry. Your prayers, encouragement, and generosity help us teach God's Word to the next generation.

☀️ First Sunday of June at Kid's Church! ☀️

This Sunday, we learned about the story of Samuel. Our kids discovered that God still speaks today, and like Samuel, we can say “I’m listening” with our whole hearts.

The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
- 1 Samuel 3:10
