The activity gathered 40 MSMEs and aspiring entrepreneurs from various sectors to enhance their knowledge and skills in bookkeeping, financial management, business compliance, and loan access opportunities. The program opened with welcoming remarks and an overview of the activity delivered by DTI NC Pagbilao Business Counselor Rhoderlyn Dianne Imperio, who acknowledged the guests, resource speakers, and participants. This was followed by a message of support from the Municipal Mayor of Pagbilao, Quezon, Hon. Angelica G. Portes.
Participants gained valuable insights from resource speakers Mr. Edward Orge of SB Corp Southern Luzon Group, who discussed SB Corp loan programs and digital loan application through the SB Corp Money App, and Mr. Gene Emil De La Cruz, who discussed basic bookkeeping principles and proper recording of business transactions. A hands-on bookkeeping activity was also conducted to help participants apply the lessons learned.
