Ayon sa weather advisories, may posibilidad ng pag-ulan at thunderstorms sa Metro Manila, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Bulacan, at karatig na lugar. Unahin ang kaligtasan ng sarili at pamilya—ang pag-iingat at paghahanda ay makapagliligtas ng buhay.

Kung pauwi, mag-ingat sa biyahe, iwasan ang baha, at huwag tumawid sa rumaragasang tubig. Sa mga lugar na maaaring bahain o magkaroon ng landslide, manatiling alerto at sundin ang abiso o evacuation advisory ng lokal na pamahalaan.

Subaybayan ang opisyal na ulat mula sa PAGASA, NDRRMC, at lokal na pamahalaan para sa mga update sa panahon.

Sa ganitong panahon, higit nating pag-ingatan ang ating sarili at mga mahal sa buhay. Kung hindi naman kailangang lumabas, manatili muna sa ligtas na lugar. Kung kinakailangang bumiyahe, mag-ingat sa madudulas na kalsada at iwasan ang mga lugar na may pagbaha o panganib ng landslide.

Ugaliing subaybayan ang mga opisyal na abiso ng inyong lokal na pamahalaan at mga kinauukulang ahensya upang maging handa sa anumang pagbabago ng panahon.

💙 Ang kaligtasan ay nagsisimula sa pagiging maingat. Mag-ingat po tayong lahat at manatiling ligtas.

Gospel Reflection
Matthew 9:14–17
4 July 2026

“People do not put new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise the skins burst, the wine spills out, and the skins are ruined. Rather, they pour new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.”

Jesus comes into our lives like new wine: alive, generous, full of promise. His presence brings fresh strength to tired hearts, fresh vision to ordinary days, and fresh courage for choices that shape who we become. A life touched by Christ begins to carry a new taste, a new direction, a new way of seeing people, work, family, and even our own wounds.

Yet new wine calls for fresh wineskins. The grace of Jesus invites us to release habits that have grown too small for the life He offers. Resentment gives way to mercy. Pride gives way to humility. Restlessness gives way to trust. The heart gradually becomes more open, more generous, and more ready to welcome the work of God.

Fresh wineskins are formed through daily surrender. They take shape when we pray with honesty, forgive with courage, serve with joy, and allow God to teach us again. The Lord renews us from within. He softens what has become rigid, heals what has become heavy, and awakens desires that lead us toward love, truth, and holiness.

Following Jesus gives us a renewed way of being and living. We begin to speak with greater kindness, choose with deeper wisdom, and carry ourselves with a quiet freedom. The old life slowly gives way to a life filled with grace. Christ pours His new wine into us so that our hearts may become vessels of His joy for the people around us.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, pour Your new wine into the deepest places of our hearts. Shape us into fresh wineskins, open and ready for Your grace. Lead us each day into the new life You lovingly prepare for us. Amen.
