Municipal Civil Registrar Office Municipal Civil Registrar is responsible for the registration program in the municipality. CIVIL REGISTRY FUNCTIONS

1.

Prepare Civil Registry documents presented for registration.
2. Receive Civil Registry documents for registration.
3. Register Registrable documents and judicial decrees affecting the
civil status of a person.
4. Prepare and register legal instruments affecting the civil status of a
person.
5. Prepare and receive application for marriage license and after
determining that the require

ments and supporting certificate and
posting thereof for the prescribed period have been complied with,
issue the license upon payment of the authorized fee.
6. Transmit to the office of the Civil Registrar-General within the
prescribed period, duplicate copies of registered documents required
by law. PETITIONS, RECORDS AND ADMINISTRATION SECTION
FUNCTIONS:

1. Receive and prepared supporting documents for petitions under R.A 9048 and R.A 10172
2. Issue certified transcription or certified copies of registered documents.
3. File, keep and preserve the civil registry books and registered documents.
4. Prepare plans and programs of the office of the Municipal Civil Registrar.
5. Prepare and submit reports as required by the Municipal Mayor.
6. Prepare OPCR and IPCR targets and ratings.
7. Attend to the other administrative concern of the office
