On the occasion of International Human Rights Day and the 75th Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Philippine National Police reaffirms its commitment to upholding the principles of Freedom, Equality, and Justice for all.
The PNP stands firm in its duty to protect and promote the human rights of every individual, fostering an environment where freedom, equality, and justice are respected and upheld.'
The PNP recognizes that safeguarding human rights is intrinsic to its mandate of maintaining peace and order. Upholding these principles not only ensures a safe environment for all citizens but also contributes to building trust between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve.
PNP Chief, PGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA JR, emphasized, “Our commitment to human rights forms the cornerstone of our police operations, ensuring that our actions are conducted within the bounds of the law while respecting the dignity and rights of every person.”
