On November 22, 2024, at the Barangay Quirino Multi-Purpose Hall, the Panel Interview segment for Saniata ti Barangay Quirino 2024 commenced with solemnity and purpose. The event opened with an invocation led by SK Councilor Hon. Gabriel V. Benasa, setting the tone for a day of reflection and eloquence. Following this, SK Councilor Hon. Mariane Leika A. Morales formally introduced the distinguished Board of Panelists, highlighting their achievements and credentials.
๐นMs. Elmon M. Alcaraz
A beacon of leadership and academic distinction, Ms. Alcarazโs accolades include serving as the Supreme Student Government President of NVGCHS (2019), graduating with High Honors, and holding the esteemed position of Young Board Member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan. Currently, she inspires future leaders as the President of the Association of Civil Engineering Students under the Junior Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers and serves as a sought-after Question and Answer Trainer for municipal pageants.
๐นMs. Clarita Esparanza M. Dychitan
An epitome of grace and achievement, Ms. Dychitan is a nursing graduate, Cum Laude, from Saint Maryโs University and a celebrated brand ambassadress for Purple Aesthetic Skin Clinic and Blended PH. Crowned Binibining Bayombong 2024, she will proudly represent her municipality in the forthcoming Saniata ti Nueva Vizcaya, exemplifying poise and beauty with substance.
๐นMs. Jeffzel Bryle I. Raรฑa
A paragon of advocacy and creativity, Ms. Raรฑa is an accomplished leader, trans rights advocate, and HIV/AIDS awareness champion. With a decorated background in pageantry, including notable titles such as Miss Trans Global Philippines 2022 - Finalist, she seamlessly merges activism with artistry, excelling as a freelance Hair and Make-Up Artist, assistant photographer, and creative director for Diestro Films. Her academic credentials are equally impressive, holding a degree in BS Biology specialized in Microbiology from Nueva Vizcaya State University-Bayombong Campus.
To honor their invaluable contribution to the event, the panelists were awarded with certificates of appreciation and tokens by SK Chairperson Hon. Athena Kyle P. Asuncion and SK Councilor Hon. Mariane Leika A. Morales.
Before the interview proper, Ms. Jeffzel Bryle I. Raรฑa, the Chairman of the Board of Panelists, formally read the criteria for judging, providing clarity and transparency for both participants and the audience.
With the formalities complete, the much-anticipated interview began. Each candidate entered the session hall one by one, exuding confidence as they prepared to showcase their intellect and poise. Each panelist posed two incisive questions, testing the candidatesโ ability to think critically, respond spontaneously, and articulate their thoughts with grace.
The Panel Interview, which constitutes 15% of the overall tally, was a vital segment of the competition. It exemplified the significance of eloquence, intellectual depth, and composure in determining the next Saniata ti Barangay Quirino.
The event served as a prelude to the grand Coronation Night, underscoring that true beauty is not only seen but heard and felt through the power of words and ideas.
