During the LGU's Necrological Service for PMSg Davy Caramatana last May 18 (Monday), Sangguniang Bayan Resolution No. 2026-108 dated May 13, 2026 sponsored and authored by Vice-Mayor Alme Rhummyla G. Nicor-Mangilimutan honoring the heroic sacrifice of PMSg Carampatana in the line of duty and expressing the deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to his bereaved family, was read by Hon. Kaye P. Cabalatungan and was awarded by Mayor Añejo, Vice-Mayor Mhai and the whole Sangguniang Bayan Council to his wife and family.

Talaptap, La Castellana sang May 11. Sa pihak nga ini nagresulta sa pagsakripisyo ni PMSg Davy Caramatana sang iya kabuhi kag pagka pilason ni Deputy Chief, Police Captain Jose Michael Muñez kag Police Corporal Gerson Guache, nangin successful ang nasambit nga operation gani aside sa ila nga tatlo, ginpasidunggan man kag ginpasalamatan ang police operatives nga na involve sa amo nga operation kag ang bilog nga La Castellana Municipal Police Station sa pagpanguna ni Police Major Romulo Gepilango, V.

Ang 5 ka resolutions gin award sa mga kapulisan sang Sangguniang Bayan thru Mayor Añejo G. Nicor, SB Kaye P. Cabalatungan, SB Benjo Javier Magno and Secretary to the Sanggunian Russel Ravello Peñacuba pagkatapos sang Flag Raising Ceremony sang lunes, May 18. Nakigbahin ang Sangguniang Bayan sa Brgy. Assembly sang Brgy. Robles para sa issue sang tubig sa poblacion sang nagligad nga semana, May 14. Naghatag sang status report ang La Castellana Water District kag ginpaathag sa pumuluyo ang estado sang tubig kag kung ano na nga mga tikang ang nahimo sang barangay kag sang munisipyo para mabuligan resolbar ang aton problema sa tubig.

The Municipality of La Castellana stands in grief and gratitude as we honor the courage and sacrifice displayed by our brave police officers during the recent buy-bust operation in Sitio Talaptap, Barangay Talaptap.

In the face of danger and uncertainty, PMSG Davy Carampatana gave his life in faithful service to the people, embodying the highest ideals of duty, valor, and selflessness. We likewise pray for the fast recovery of Police Captain Jose Michael Muñez, Deputy Chief of Police, who courageously endured multiple stab wounds, and Police Corporal Gerson Guache who sustained minor injuries while fearlessly performing their sworn duty to protect the community.

In recognition of their heroism and unwavering dedication to public service, the Sangguniang Bayan of La Castellana in today's 44th Regular Session, passed five (5) separate resolutions honoring:
• PMSG Davy Carampatana for his ultimate sacrifice and condolences to his bereaved famiy
• Police Captain Jose Michael Muñez for his courage and gallantry despite sustaining serious injuries;
• Police Corporal Gerson Guache for his bravery in the performance of duty;
• the police operatives involved in the successful buy-bust operation; and
• the entire La Castellana Municipal Police Station under the leadership of PMaj Romulo Gepilango V for their steadfast commitment to maintaining peace and order in the Municipality.

May we never forget the heroism of those who wear the badge with honor, integrity, and selfless love for country and community.
