BAGONBON || A meaningful and informative Youth Development Session (YDS) was successfully conducted today, March 24, 2026, at Bagonbon National High School, focusing on the vital topic of HIV Awareness. The session was actively participated in by Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12 students, making it a dynamic and engaging learning experience for the youth.

The activity aimed to educate and empower students with accurate knowledge about HIV, its causes, modes of transmission, prevention, and the importance of breaking stigma and discrimination. Through this session, learners were encouraged to become more aware, responsible, and proactive in protecting their health and well-being.

We were honored to have HIV Counselor John Leo B. Lebumfacil as the resource speaker, who shared his expertise and valuable insights. His discussion inspired the students to make informed decisions, practice healthy behaviors, and promote respect and understanding within their community.

This initiative highlights the continuous commitment to guide and support young individuals in becoming knowledgeable, responsible, and empowered members of society—contributing to a healthier and more informed generation.

MABATO, BULUANGAN ||Assigned City Links conducted NAS (Not Attending School) validation in Sitio Mabato, Brgy. Buluangan to locate and verify the status of identified children who are currently not attending school. The activity aimed to ensure proper monitoring and to help address the concerns of beneficiaries regarding their children’s education.

Due to the remote location of the sitio, the team experienced challenges in locating the houses of some beneficiaries, as many homes are scattered and situated far from the main road. Despite the struggle in navigating the area and identifying the exact locations of the households, the team remained committed to reaching every family for proper validation.

Aside from the NAS validation, Miss Marshan and Miss April Lyn also conducted a Family Development Session (FDS) with the beneficiaries, providing them with valuable information and guidance that promotes awareness, responsibility, and positive development within the family and the community.

Despite the challenges encountered during the activity, the dedication of the team reflects their commitment to ensuring that beneficiaries are supported and that every child is given the opportunity to pursue education.

Through patience, coordination with community members, and dedication to their work, Miss Marshan and Miss April Lyn were able to reach several households and gather the necessary information. This activity reflects the commitment of the field workers in ensuring that every child is accounted for and encouraged to return to school, proving that even the most distant communities are not forgotten.

The session also emphasized that maintaining good health is not only beneficial for individuals but also for the entire family and community. Participants actively shared their experiences, practices, and challenges in maintaining healthy habits at home. BARANGAY V, SAN CARLOS CITY || —SOCIAL PREPARATION MODULE (PANLIPUNANG PAGHAHANDA)
Sesyon 1: “Ganito Kami Noon at Ito Kami Ngayon”

The beneficiaries of Brgy. V gathered for a joyful, inspiring, and meaningful Family Development Session (FDS) as part of the Social Preparation Module – Session 1. With the guidance and leadership of the assigned City Link, Miss Christine, the activity became a safe and empowering space for sharing experiences, reflections, and personal growth.

During the session, participants were encouraged to look back on their past situations — the struggles, challenges, and uncertainties they once faced as families. Many shared heartfelt stories about financial hardships, parenting difficulties, and personal trials. Through the discussion of “Ganito Kami Noon,” they were reminded of how far they have come despite those obstacles.

As the conversation transitioned to “Ito Kami Ngayon,” the atmosphere became even more uplifting. Indeed, it was a productive and meaningful gathering that strengthened the beneficiaries’ sense of responsibility, unity, and hope for a brighter future. Through activities like this, we continue to empower families to become more resilient, self-reliant, and active partners in community development.

BULUANGAN || Conducted NAS (Not Attending School) Validation in Proper,Buluangan together with Miss April Lyn, Miss Marshan, and Miss Tess. Through house-to-house visits, personal interviews, and coordination with parents and guardians, we carefully validated the status of identified learners to ensure that records are updated and accurate.

The activity allowed us to better understand the reasons why some children are not currently attending school—whether due to financial constraints, family concerns, health-related issues, or other personal circumstances. Beyond validation, this initiative also opened opportunities to encourage and remind families about the importance of education and the available support systems that can help their children return to school.

Every visit is more than compliance—it is a step toward restoring hope and opportunity. Through teamwork, dedication, and compassion, we continue to strengthen our advocacy that no child should be left behind. Education remains a powerful tool for change, and we are committed to helping every NAS learner find their way back to the classroom and toward a brighter future.
