On June 4, 2026, personnel of Nagbukel MPS led by PLT ROMEL DG NOZARES, DCOP, under the supervision of PCPT ALBERTO B RAMOS JR, ACOP, conducted foot, mobile, bike and TMRU patrolling and visitation/inspection of vital installation and business establishment at Nagbukel, Ilocos Sur as target hardening measure to preempt any unlawful acts and other incidents. This initative is in line with the PNP "Pulis ko, Kaagapay ko, Sa Paaralan at Komunidad" which aim to strengthen the partnership between the PNP and the community, ensuring a safer and more secure environment for all.

On June 4, 2026, personnel of Nagbukel MPS led by PLT ROMEL DG NOZARES, DCOP, under the supervision of PCPT ALBERTO B RAMOS JR., carried out the enforcement of municipal ordinances on curfew hours for minors, prohibition of drinking in public places, and prevention of roaming without proper attire (no shirt).
This operation aims to strengthen public safety, instill discipline, and maintain peace and order within the community.

STREET LEVEL INDIVIDUAL BUSTED IN VIGAN CITY; ISPPO NETS PHP121K OF ILLEGAL DRUGS

Camp Pres. Elpidio R Quirino, Bulag, Bantay, Ilocos Sur -- The Ilocos Sur Police Provincial Office(ISPPO), led by the Provincial Director, PCOL AGOSTO M ASUNCION, continues to intensify its campaign against illegal drugs, by relentlessly identifying and pursuing drug personalities. This demonstrates a responsive approach of law enforcement, which is inline with the Enhanced A.L.E.R.T.O Framework.

On June 3,2026, at 5:30 PM, personnel of Ilocos Sur Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, together with Vigan CPS, uccessfully conducted a buy-bust operation in Brgy. VII Vigan City. This led to the arrest of a 41-year-old, listed as a Street Level Individual and a resident of said City. Confiscated from the possession and control of the suspect were 17.86 grams of shabu contained in three (3) pieces of small heat-sealed plastic sachets, with SDP of Php121,448.00. Also confiscated from the suspect were buy-bust money, pouch and a motorcycle.

This operation underscores the sustained momentum and intensified implementation of the Enhanced A.L.E.R.T.O. Framework, which continues to strengthen intelligence-driven and responsive police operations against illegal drugs and other forms of criminality in the province.

PCOL AGOSTO M ASUNCION lauded the operatives for successfully carrying-out the operation through careful surveillance, coordination and immediate police response. “This accomplishment of ISPPO and the mount of drugs confiscated highlight the effectiveness of proactive law enforcement efforts and the commitment of every personnel to protect communities from the harmful effects of illegal drugs,” he stated.

The Ilocos Sur Police Provincial Office reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining aggressive but lawful anti-illegal drug operations, emphasizing that the province’s police force remains steadfast in its mission to uphold peace and order through responsive, transformative, and community-centered policing. # # # #

Isang babaeng tatawagin natin sa pangalang “Emma”, 37 taong gulang mula sa Dacutan, Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, ang aming natulungan sa isang hindi inaasahang pagkakataon. Siya ay anim na buwang buntis at kasalukuyang dumaranas ng matinding pagsubok matapos siyang iwan ng kanyang asawa.

Upang matustusan ang kanyang mga pangangailangan sa nalalapit niyang panganganak, naglalakad si Emma mula sa kanilang bayan upang humingi ng tulong sa iba’t ibang lugar. Sa kanyang paghahanap ng pag-asa, nakarating siya sa bayan ng San Ildefonso, Ilocos Sur.

Sa aming pakikiramay at pag-unawa sa kanyang sitwasyon, ang mga personnel ng San Ildefonso Municipal Police Station, sa pangunguna ng aming Acting Chief of Police na si PCPT JOSEPH R. FIELDAD, ay agad na nagkaisa upang makapag-abot ng tulong. Sa pamamagitan ng simpleng pag-aambagan, nakalikom ang aming kapulisan ng pambili ng mga pangunahing pangangailangan para sa kanyang nalalapit na panganganak tulad ng alcohol, wet wipes, bulak, tissue, at ilang damit na kanyang magagamit. Nag-abot din ang aming ACOP ng karagdagang cash upang makatulong sa kanyang mga gastusin.

Bukod dito, siya ay nabigyan din ng medical assistance. Si NUP Ginalyn Purisima ay nagsagawa ng pagmomonitor sa kanyang blood pressure upang masiguro ang kanyang kaligtasan, lalo na at siya ay naglakad nang malayo sa ilalim ng matinding init ng panahon.

Bagama’t hindi nito natugunan ang lahat ng kanyang pangangailangan, naging sapat ito upang maiparamdam sa kanya na hindi siya nag-iisa at may mga taong handang umalalay sa oras ng pangangailangan. Ang simpleng tulong na ito ay nagdulot ng pag-asa at kahit kaunting ginhawa sa kanyang sitwasyon.

Nawa ay maging maayos at ligtas ang iyong panganganak. Patuloy kaming umaasa at magdarasal para sa inyong kaligtasan sa iyong magiging anak.

Ang pangyayaring ito ay patunay na ang malasakit at bayanihan ay nananatiling buhay sa ating komunidad.

CAMP BGEN OSCAR M. FLORENDO, La Union – Intensifying its manhunt operations under the Enhanced A.L.E.R.T.O. Framework, Police Regional Office 1 (PRO 1) arrested three Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) in separate operations on June 2, 2026, resulting in the capture of the Top 1, Top 4, and Top 5 Provincial Most Wanted Persons in Pangasinan and La Union.

In Binmaley, Pangasinan, joint operatives from the Provincial Intelligence Unit (lead unit), together with PIT Pang PPO, RIU, Bugallon Municipal Police Station (MPS), and Binmaley MPS, arrested Pangasinan’s Top Most Wanted Person (who also ranks as the Top 2 municipal fugitive). The suspect, a construction worker from Bugallon, faces three counts of Statutory R**e.

In a separate coordinated sweep in the same municipality, the Top 5 Provincial fugitive (and Top 3 MWP) was also arrested by the Binmaley Municipal Police Station, together with PIU, PIT (both of Pang PPO), RIU, and Bugallon MPS for three counts of Statutory R**e.

In a cross-provincial operation, personnel of Agoo MPS, together with the Cabanatuan CPS of Nueva Ecija PPO, RIU, TSC-RMFB 1, 1st LUPMFC, 2nd LUPMFC, LUPIU, PIDMU LUPPO, and RID tracked down the province's Top 4 most wanted person to Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. The suspect is facing charges for Syndicated Illegal Recruitment Constituting Economic Sabotage, Syndicated Estafa, and Swindling (Violation of Article 315(2)(a) of the Revised Penal Code.)

PRO 1 Acting Regional Director PBGEN Jovencio S. Badua Jr. emphasized that the PRO 1 will maintain its aggressive stance against individuals evading the law.

"Fugitives who attempt to evade justice should know that law enforcement efforts do not stop," PBGEN Badua said. "PRO 1 remains focused on locating wanted persons, serving warrants, and ensuring that those facing criminal charges are brought before the courts in accordance with the law." # # #
