Christmas is a celebration of Joy, Hope, Happiness, and Love for everyone, especially for our family and loved ones. It symbolizes a new chapter of life, as it marks the birth of our Lord Jesus in Bethlehem.

In line with our celebration of the Festival of Lights and Dagitab Festival in the City of Naga, the Christmas Capital of the South in Cebu, we would like to invite you to witness the SWITCH-ON of the Christmas lights and PASKO SA INAYAGAN on December 10, 2024, Tuesday, at 7:00 PM, beside the MIIT school.

The Blessed Virgin Mary, under her title of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, has been a beloved patroness of the community. People have sought her intercession in times of joy, sorrow, and uncertainty. Her image, adorned with a rosary, has offered comfort and guidance to numerous individuals.

Let us come together as a community to honor her intercession and seek her blessings. May this fiesta be a time of spiritual renewal, joy, and fellowship.

5TH NIGHT: PUROK NITE (OCTOBER 17, 2024)

The Purok Nite 2024 in Barangay Inayagan was a vibrant and meaningful celebration, especially with the presence of our City Mayor, Hon. Valdemar M. Chiong, City Councilor Hon. Ray Manabat, and the barangay officials led by Barangay Captain Hon. Edilberto A. Fat. A major highlight of the event was the Purok Dance Contest, featuring participation from 53 Purok, divided into 8 clusters. Here are the clusters from the Sitios and Puroks.

CLUSTER 1 - SITIO SAN JUAN (PUROKS: KANIPAAN, KASADPAN, MAZARI COVE, RELIS, RELIS TINUBDAN AND SILANGAN)

CLUSTER 2 - SITIO CENTRAL II (PUROKS: ARRIENDO, DARUHAN, KALINGAWAN, NANAY ABYANG 1, NANAY ABYANG 2, NATIONAL HIGHWAY AND NAUGHANG SAPA

CLUSTER 3 - SITIO'S NORTH & WEST (PUROKS: CACAO, CALAMANSI, KALUBIHAN, TAMBIS DOS, KAUSWAGAN, LUPA & SAKA-ON)

CLUSTER 4: SITIO STO. NIÑO (PUROKS: AIR RAID, BON-BON, BULI, SABIN & TABAY UNO)

CLUSTER 5: SITIO'S ESTACA & PALANAS (PUROKS: ANAPOGAN, KAMANSI, KARSADA, PANAGHIUSA, SAPA, STA. FILOMENA & UPPER)

CLUSTER 6: SITIO'S STO. NIÑO, LITTLE BAGUIO & PANGILATAN (PUROKS: BASKETAN, BUNGTURAN, KAPILYA, TAGAYTAY, TANGASAN & TUBIGAN)

CLUSTER 7: SITIO UPPER BAYONG (PUROKS: BAMBOO, BARRACKS, BAYONG CENTRO, NEEM TREE, ORIGINAL, RIVERSIDE, SAN VICENTE & TOWER)

CLUSTER 8: SITIO'S CENTRAL 1, WEST, UPPER BAYONG & LOWER BAYONG (PUROKS: BAHAANON, ESKWELAHAN, ESKINA GAMAY, FATIMA, ROSE, TABAY DOS & TAMBIS UNO)

Our City Mayor, Hon. Valdemar M. Chiong, awarded a cash incentive of Php 10,000 per cluster, while City Councilor Hon. Ray Manabat contributed an additional Php 5,000 per cluster, bringing the total cash incentive to Php 15,000 for each cluster. We sincerely thank the City of Naga officials, led by City Mayor Hon. Valdemar M. Chiong, City Vice Mayor Hon. Virgilio M. Chiong, and the City Councilors, for their time and effort in attending and witnessing our wonderful event.

The winners of the Purok Dance Contest 2024 are as follows: the Champion from Cluster 7, the 1st Runner-Up from Cluster 2, and the 2nd Runner-Up from Cluster 1. Congratulations to all the winners! We also appreciate all the clusters that participated in this event.

Lastly, we extend our heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to our Barangay Officials, led by our dynamic and charming Barangay Captain, Hon. Edilberto A. Fat, along with his dedicated Barangay Council, and to all Purok Presidents and Purok Federations led by Purok Federations President Mrs. Teodosia "Auntie Tuesday" M. Española for making this event a tremendous success.
