03 APRIL 2026 — Naga Metropolitan Cathedral

(1) ARRAPI - Naga Chapter took part in the Good Friday observance at the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral last April 3, 2026 through the Siete Palabras, reflecting on the Seven Last Words of Jesus.

During the reflection on the second last word—“Sa katotohanan sinasabihan taka, ngonian mismo makakaiba ka sa paraiso.” the ARRAPI - Naga chapter members served as prayer leaders, guiding the faithful in solemn devotion.

Right after the Siete Palabras —

(2) ARRAPI - Naga Chapter participated as sectoral representatives during the veneration of the Cross, joining the faithful in a solemn expression of reverence and gratitude for Christ’s sacrifice.

02 APRIL 2026 — APP, Canaman Camarines Sur

The ARRAPI Naga Chapter, in partnership with the Philippine Air Force—TOS (R) Naga City, TOG (R) 5, and TOW (R) SOL shared free goto and bread with “Alay Lakad” devotees during Semana Santa.

Maundy Thursday marks the Last Supper of Christ, inspiring acts of sacrifice and service. In Bicol, devotees walk from Naga to Calabanga’s Amang Hinulid (with almost 12km with 3-4hrs walk) as a form of penance and prayer. Through this outreach, the spirit of faith and bayanihan shines proving that even simple kindness can uplift every pilgrim’s journey.

01 & 03 APRIL 2026, NAGA METROPOLITAN CATHEDRAL

The Association of Reservists and Reservist Administrators of the Philippines, Inc. (ARRAPI) – Naga Chapter carried out a meaningful Holy Week initiative by distributing free candles to devotees during the Procession of the Nazareno and the Procession of the Holy Sepulchre.

total of 250 candles were distributed across the two days, symbolizing light, prayer, and hope among the faithful. The initiative aimed not only to assist devotees but also to foster a deeper sense of community and spiritual reflection during the observance of Holy Week.

Through this simple yet heartfelt act, the ARRAPI Naga Chapter reaffirmed its commitment to service—extending beyond duty and into compassion—by accompanying the faithful in their journey of prayer, sacrifice, and devotion.

26 March 2026 — CERAB, Capas, Tarlac

The ARRAPI Naga Chapter, represented by 2LT ANA MARIE P DELLORO PAF (Res), Sgt Joy Barandon PAF (Res), and AW Belle Ashley A Macalintal PAF (Res), proudly took part in the outreach initiative at Colonel Ernesto Ravina Air Base (CERAB), Capas, Tarlac.

Spearheaded by the Association of Reservists and Reservist Administrators of the PH Inc. under the leadership of Chairman COL MICHAEL ODYLON L ROMERO PAF (GSC) (RES) and in partnership with the 790th Air Base Group, the outreach program entitled “Tulong sa Pagsulong was successfully conducted to support the Aeta community residing within the Colonel Ernesto Ravina Air Base (CERAB)

The initiative focused on delivering both immediate aid and long-term opportunities for Indigenous Peoples (IP). During the activity, over 300 Aeta families received essential grocery assistance, alongside access to medical and dental services—addressing critical healthcare gaps within the community.

Through its three phases: (1) community farm development, (2) establishment of a Katutubo selling area, and (3) continuous food and medical missions. Tulong sa Pagsulong envisions self-reliant IP communities with stable livelihoods and strengthened partnerships with the Philippine Air Force (Civil-Military Operations) — 2nd Air Reserve Center.

The Association of Reservists and Reservist Administrators of the Philippines, Inc., led by Chairman COL MICHAEL ODYLON L ROMERO PAF (GSC) (RES), in partnership with the 790th Air Base Group, successfully conducted an outreach program for the Aeta community at Colonel Ernesto Ravina Air Base, dubbed “Tulong sa Pagsulong.”

The initiative aims to support Indigenous Peoples within the CERAB military reservation by promoting sustainable livelihoods through farming and product marketing. During the visit, beneficiaries received medical and dental services, along with grocery assistance distributed to 300 Aeta families.

BAKIT MAY RESERVE FORCE?

May Reserve Force dahil hindi lang active-duty troops ang kailangan ng isang bansa. Ito ang strategic backup na handang tumulong sa panahon ng digmaan, kalamidad, o national emergency.

1️⃣ Force Expansion Capability –
Kapag may crisis o conflict, pwedeng palakasin agad ang manpower ng armed forces.

2️⃣ National Emergency Response –
Malaking tulong ang reservists sa disaster response, relief operations, at community support.

3️⃣ Cost-Effective Defense –
Mas sustainable ang defense structure dahil hindi lahat ay full-time active duty.

4️⃣ Civil-Military Link –
Ang reservists ay bahagi ng civilian workforce pero may military training—nagiging tulay sila ng komunidad at armed forces.

5️⃣ Specialized Civilian Skills –
Maraming reservists ang may expertise sa medicine, engineering, IT, logistics, at iba pa na critical sa operations.

6️⃣ National Preparedness –
Pinapalakas nito ang overall readiness ng bansa sa long-term security planning.

7️⃣ Strategic Depth –
Hindi lang immediate response ang focus—kundi sustained capability kung tumagal ang krisis.

💬 Ang Reserve Force ay hindi “extra”—ito ang strategic strength sa likod ng frontline.

"𝙈𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨, 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙖𝙩 𝙖 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚"

Last February 22–26, 2026, Operation Taghoy was successfully held at Ago General Hospital, providing free cleft lip and cleft palate surgeries to patients in need.

This yearly mission is led by Uplift Internationale, now on its 37th year of service. The organization is headed by its Chairman Emeritus and Founder, Dr. Jaime Alonso Yrastorza, together with President, Dr. Steve Kebs, and Philippine Executive Director, Ms. Megs Lunn. Composed of volunteer doctors from the United States, the team generously flew in to offer life-changing surgeries for free.

This year, ARRAPI - Naga Chapter proudly served as one of the project partners. Headed by Chairperson 2LT ANA MARIE P DELLORO PAF (Res), the team visited the hospital to show support to the doctors and patients. Chair Anne also availed of the free operation.
