NCPO Brings Hope Through Project S.U.R.A.T. Outreach Program

June 1, 2026, the Naga City Police Office successfully conducted an Outreach Program Activity for the scholars and beneficiaries of Project S.U.R.A.T. (Suportahan an Uragon asin Responsableng Aki, Tabangan Para Mapamaray an Buhay). The activity was spearheaded by the City Community Affairs and Development Unit (CCADU) in collaboration with the different Police Station and City Mobile Force Company (CMFC).

As part of the program, school bags filled with essential school supplies were distributed to the scholars and beneficiaries to support their educational needs and encourage them to pursue their studies with determination and confidence. Likewise, rice packs were provided to the parents and families of the beneficiaries as an additional form of assistance, demonstrating the Philippine National Police's commitment to community welfare and inclusive development.

The activity reflects the NCPO's dedication to strengthening police-community relations through meaningful programs that promote education, social responsibility, and compassion. Through Project S.U.R.A.T., the Naga City Police Office continues to empower young individuals and uplift families, fostering hope and creating opportunities for a brighter future.

The outreach program showcased the spirit of volunteerism, unity, and genuine public service, highlighting the PNP's role not only as protectors of peace and order but also as partners in community development and nation-building.

NCPO Joins 41st Death Commemoration of Juan Q. Miranda

June 1, 2026, the Naga City Police Office (NCPO) joined the 41st Death Commemoration of Juan Q. Miranda held at Sto. Niño Memorial Park, Balatas, Naga City. The solemn event was attended by Naga City Mayor Atty. Maria Leonor G. Robredo, members of the City Council, government officials, stakeholders, and other distinguished guests who gathered to honor and remember the life, legacy, and contributions of the late Juan Q. Miranda to the City of Naga and its people.

The commemoration served as a meaningful occasion to reflect on the values of public service, leadership, and dedication exemplified by Juan Q. Miranda throughout his lifetime. Halos naka full force ang deployment ng lokal na sangay ng Philippine National Police sa lungsod ng Naga kasabay ng "Balik Eskwela" na nagsimula ngayong araw ng Lunes.

Ayon kay PLt.Col. Elmer Azurez Jr., ang namumuno sa city community affairs and development unit ng Naga City Police Office, mula ngayong araw ng Lunes hanggang sa Biyernes, Hunyo 5, gagawin ang mga aktibidad na may kinalaman sa paghahanda para sa pagbubukas ng school year 2026-2027 sa susunod na linggo.

Kabilang na dito ang maagang deployment ng police personnel sa loob at labas ng mga paaralan sa lungsod upang masiguro ang kaayusan lalo na sa daloy ng trapiko katuwang ang Public Safety Office at barangay law enforcers.

Hindi na rin isinantabi ng mga awtoridad ang pagpasunod sa tamang paggamit ng pedestrian lanes na malapit sa mga paaralan. || Radyoman Paulo Papa
