Kinilala ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Muntinlupa bilang International Local Volunteer Partner Institution Awardee ng Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA), katuwang ang Korea International Cooperation Agency Philippines - KOICA ํ•„๋ฆฌํ•€์‚ฌ๋ฌด์†Œ (KOICA), bilang pagkilala sa pakikipagtulungan nito sa international volunteer programs.

Nagpasalamat si Mayor Ruffy Biazon sa patuloy na suporta ng Korean volunteers sa Early Childhood Education Division (ECED) at mga Child Development Centers, at binigyang-diin ang halaga ng partnership na kapwa nakikinabang ang komunidad at mga volunteers.

Matatandaang noong December 2023, kinilala ang Muntinlupa bilang kauna-unahang Volunteerism Local Learning Hub sa bansaโ€”isang hakbang upang lalo pang mapalakas ang volunteerism sa lungsod.

Kaugnay nito, lumagda ang lokal na pamahalaan sa isang Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) kasama ang PNVSCA para sa mas pinalawak na training, workshops, at community outreach programs.

Mayor Ruffy Biazon has signed two new ordinances strengthening creative expression and youth engagement in the City of Muntinlupa. Both measures were primarily authored by Councilor Jedi Presnedi, and approved by the City Council on February 2, 2026.

๐—ข๐—ฟ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ก๐—ผ. ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ-๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿฐ, or the Muntinlupa City Public Art Ordinance, establishes clear guidelines for creating, preserving, and managing public art in the city.

The City will designate Public Art Spaces and protect artworks as cultural assets. An Art Expression Wall will also be established as an open space for creativity. The ordinance prohibits vandalism and unauthorized defacement of public artworks.

The Tourism Culture and Arts Department will draft the Implementing Rules and Regulation.

๐—ข๐—ฟ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ก๐—ผ. ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ-๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿฏ, or the NSTP Localization Ordinance, integrates student volunteerism into local government programs.

The City Government will work with educational institutions to develop local NSTP modules and encourage student participation in LGU-led initiatives, including disaster preparedness activities and youth programs.

The Lyceum of Alabang invites all Student Leaders to attend the Volunteerism Forum on February 28, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM, at the Museo ng Muntinlupa.

With the theme โ€œEmpowering Student Leaders through Volunteerism, Ethical Leadership, and Transparent Governance,โ€ the forum aims to inspire student leaders to lead with integrity, accountability, and a strong commitment to community service and volunteerism

The event will feature insightful talks from:
๐Ÿ“๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐ƒ๐ž๐›๐จ๐ซ๐š๐ก ๐Œ. ๐„๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐š, on accountability and transparency in campus organizations;

This activity is organized by the Lyceum of Alabang Inc through the valued collaboration with the City Government of Muntinlupa, Museo ng Muntinlupa, Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA), Youth Development Office, Barangay Tunasan, Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Tunasan, Center for Service, Volunteerism and Leadership, School-Based NSRC Unit, NSTP-CWTS, Rotaract Club of Young Filipino Educators, Supreme Student Council and other organizations that support youth leadership and community development.

A ๐“๐‘๐€๐๐’๐๐Ž๐‘๐“๐€๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ ๐๐”๐’ will be ๐๐‘๐Ž๐•๐ˆ๐ƒ๐„๐ƒ. All participants are advised to be at Lyceum of Alabang, Gate 2, on or before 12:30 PM on February 28, 2026, for the scheduled departure.
