𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗥𝗢𝗔𝗗𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗞𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗦 𝗢𝗙𝗙♂️♀️🚨

Last April 27, 2026, the Local Youth Development Office, in partnership with the Sangguniang Kabataan San Jose, successfully launched the first leg of the GAD Basic Concepts and Gender Sensitivity Roadshow.

Carrying the theme “𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗸𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗼: 𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱,” the initiative sparked meaningful conversations, strengthened youth engagement, and inspired collective action.

More than just a seminar, the roadshow created a safe and empowering space for learning and reflection- encouraging young people to take an active role in promoting gender equality and building inclusive communities.

The sessions were led by esteemed experts from the University of Rizal System – Binangonan Campus. Dr. Arabella Pabilonia delivered a comprehensive discussion on GAD Basic Concepts, while Dr. Shielanie Dacumos facilitated an insightful and engaging session on Gender Sensitivity and Gender-Fair Language.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Sangguniang Bayan Members Hon. Leonardo Pantaleon and Hon. Haishen Fulgar for their continued support in championing youth centered initiatives.

To our youth participants from Brgy. San Jose, thank you for your enthusiasm, active participation, and commitment in making this activity a success.

This marks the beginning of a continuous journey toward open minds and inclusive hearts. Together, we move forward in building a community where everyone is seen, heard, and valued. 🫂💞

On 14 April 2026, the DILG Field Office of Morong, in coordination with the Local Youth Development Office, conducted a surprise inspection to assess compliance with the Sangguniang Kabataan Full Disclosure requirements for the 1st Quarter of CY 2026.

The activity was conducted pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2023-068, which provides guidelines on the SK Full Disclosure Policy. This policy ensures that Sangguniang Kabataan officials uphold transparency and accountability in the implementation of programs, projects, and activities for the public.

The Morong Local Youth Development Office also encourages the youth to regularly visit their respective barangay halls, where they may review the SK Full Disclosure Board to remain informed of SK initiatives within their communities.

All eight (8) barangays of Morong, Rizal were confirmed to have fully complied with the requirements of the SK Full Disclosure Policy, reflecting full transparency and compliance for the reporting period.
