The Committee on Appropriation chaired by Hon. Ana Lourdes Espiritu has concluded the review and Committee Hearings of all Barangay budgets for CY2026 in the Municipality of Mina!!!

The Sangguniang Bayan joins the Inauguration Ceremony of the Mina Hillside Teen Center.

The occasion was graced by key provincial officials namely Governor Arthur R. Defensor, Jr., Vice Governor Nathalie Ann F. Debuque, and Atty. Ruel Von D. Superio, Provincial Population Officer.

Officials from the Department of Education were likewise present such as Dr. Nestor Paul M. Pingil, Chief of the Curriculum Implementation Division, Dr. Lea P. Huelgas, Principal IV of Mina NHS, and Dr. Bimbo S. Casquite, Public Schools District Supervisor.

The Teen Center program aims to complement academics with facilities where learners may hone other skills and talents geared towards their holistic development.

It's been a productive week start to the new year!

Monday - First session day of 2026 marked by the approval of four resolutions.

Tuesday - Public Hearing at Mina Public Market

Wednesday & Thursday - DSWD event and Barangay visits.

Friday - Public Consulation with E-trike association.

The Sangguniang Bayan Members of Mina together with PCL President, Board Member JP Peñol, during the 2025 PCL-Iloilo Year-End Assembly.

The three-day assembly brought together councilors from the whole province of Iloilo to engage in inspiring plenaries and meaningful discussions geared towards deepening their drive and passion for public service.

The Sangguniang Bayan of Mina proudly joins the NEO Plus Program of the Department of Interior and Local Government.

The Vice Mayor and councilors actively participated in the three-day course which empowers local officials through capacity-building exercises and discussions facilitated by expert resource speakers.

Through continuous learning, we strive to level up our skills and enhance our service to our community.
