DOPPO HOLDS MONDAY FLAG RAISING CEREMONY; MATI CPS AND LUPON MPS PERSONNEL RECOGNIZED
PCOL JOSEPH A FAJARDO JR, Officer-in-Charge, spearheaded the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony and recognized top-performing personnel, held this morning, in front of the Admin Bldg., City of Mati.
During the ceremony, personnel from Mati City Police Station and Lupon Municipal Police Station were recognized for their exemplary performance and successful law enforcement operations:
PLTCOL FREDERICK C SA-AO and seven others of Mati City Police Station were commended for the successful implementation of a search warrant on May 23, 2026, at Purok Matahimik 2, Brgy. Matiao, City of Mati, Davao Oriental. The operation resulted in the arrest of a drug suspect and the recovery of illegal drug paraphernalia.
Likewise, PMAJ IAN MARC S POLESTICO and seven others of Lupon Municipal Police Station received recognition for the successful conduct of a buy-bust operation on May 24, 2026, at Purok Malipayon 2, Brgy. Poblacion, Lupon, Davao Oriental. The operation led to the arrest of a suspect and the recovery of one (1) caliber .38 revolver and drug paraphernalia.
In his message, PCOL FAJARDO JR congratulated the awardees for their deducation and professionalism. He also reminded all officers and personnel to strictly observe the policies and procedures of their respective offices and ensure that personnel on the ground comply with established standards.
He also noted the improvement in the proper wearing of uniforms and encouraged everyone to maintain the same level of discipline. Furthermore, he directed all personnel to keep their offices and surrounding areas clean and orderly, emphasizing that the camp is their second home and reflects the leadership, discipline, and professionalism of the organization.
Pastor Rey Gitacay of PNP MASCOM led the Moral Recovery Program (MRP) and reflected on the Gospel passage from Mark 10:17â22, the story of the Rich Young Man. He emphasized that true fulfillment is not found in material possessions but in wholehearted obedience to God. He encouraged personnel to remain faithful to their duties, uphold integrity in public service, and prioritize spiritual values over worldly gains.
Subsequently, PCOL FAJARDO JR conducted a Personnel Information and Continuing Education (PICE) session, providing guidance, updates, and reminders on police service, professional development, administrative concerns, and operational matters to support the effective performance of personnel.
