Ngayong NICT month, bitbit ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) ang pangako sa bawat Pilipino na walang maiiwan sa digital na pag-unlad ng Pilipinas.

Patuloy na isinusulong ng DICT ang mas inklusibong digital na kinabukasan na sumasalamin sa 4 pillars ng departamento:

A 3-day User's Training on the iBPLS: Building Permit and Certificate of Occupancy System was successfully held from April 23 to 25, 2025 in LGU Aroroy, Masbate, spearheaded by DICT Masbate.

Participants from the Bureau of Fire Protection, Municipal Engineer Office, Treasury Office, and Zoning Office took part in intensive discussions covering the BPCO modules, system data setup, and an orientation-demo with a guest applicant.

This initiative marks another step towards a more efficient, streamlined, and digital LGU service.

The ICT Proficiency Certification Examination is designed to evaluate the competence of an individual to perform programming or systems analysis and design functions. This is pursuant to PD 1408, which directs the National Computer Center (now DICT) and the Civil Service Commission (CSC) to devise ways of determining the fitness of individuals in occupying highly technical ICT positions and through which the awarding of appropriate ICT (EDP) Specialist Eligibility will be based. DICT and CSC, therefore, conduct tests in the areas of Computer Programming.
