* **DDB Board Regulation No. 5, Series of 2007:**

* **DepEd Order No. 12, s. 2009:**

* Mobile phones and portable devices must be kept in bags, lockers, or designated areas.
* Strictly prohibited during class time for all learners and personnel.

⚠️ ANNEX G: CONSEQUENCES FOR VIOLATIONS (Learners)

* 1st Offense: Temporary confiscation; returned at the end of the subject period (with documentation)
* 2nd Offense: Temporary confiscation; returned at the end of class hours + parental notice
* 3rd & Succeeding Offenses: Confiscation; device deposited at the Office of the School Head; parent/guardian retrieval required + disciplinary action

El Niño Alert issued ⚠️

DOST-PAGASA has officially raised its ENSO Alert and Warning System to El Niño Alert, following the high likelihood of its development in the coming months and possible persistence into early 2027. This may bring drier-than-usual conditions, including dry spells and droughts in parts of the country.

However, above-normal rainfall may still be experienced over the western sections during the Habagat season.

School-to-School Transfer Process for School Form 10 (SF10)

* Enrollment through the Learner Information System (LIS).

* Sharing of contact details between receiving and originating schools.

II. **Physical Document Management**
* Preparation of hard copy Form 137/SF10 by the originating registrar.
* Dispatch via mail or courier service.
* Mandatory LIS updates for "Date Sent" and "Date Received" by respective schools.

III. **Monitoring and Escalation Timelines**
* **30-Day Mark:** Receiving school triggers a "follow up maturing request" in LIS.
* **End of 1st Grading Period:** Formal report to the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD).

IV. **Procedures for Mid-Year Transfers**
* Standard LIS notification protocols apply.
* **Accelerated Escalation:** Immediate report to SGOD if records are not received within 30 days.

Policy Briefer

A. Main Purpose of Assessment
Assessment is a core component of teaching and learning. It serves to improve instruction, provide meaningful feedback, and promote continuous growth of learners. It shall be aligned with learners' developmental stages to ensure responsiveness to learner needs.

В. Formative Assessment
Formative assessment shall be embedded in daily instruction, making it a natural part of every lesson instead of a separate activity. Results gained from formative assessment shall serve as a learning reference and inform teachers what to teach next, how to teach it, and which learners are in need of additional support. In formative assessment, teachers are to apply the ESRU cycle, which will allow teachers to adjust depending on student response. Developmentally appropriate methods of formative assessments will also be applied per key stage.
