The Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) is now officially accepting applications for the 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐁𝐘𝐏) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 happening on 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝟑–𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 in Cotabato City.

BYP is where young Bangsamoro leaders bring real issues to the table, exchange bold ideas, craft youth-centered bills, and turn advocacies into action.

Whether you’re passionate about education, peacebuilding, governance, the environment, agriculture, or youth empowerment — your ideas deserve to be heard.

• Youth residing in BARMM
• 15–30 years old on the day of Parliament
• Able to read and write
• Of good moral character
• Must not have been a delegate to any national or international youth parliament

• Accomplished application form
• Proposed Youth Bill aligned with the BYDP priority areas

Service officially begins TODAY! We are proud to announce the successful deployment of our Bangsamoro Youth Volunteers Program (BYVP) Cohort 2 volunteers to their assigned host offices in Lanao del Sur.

We sincerely acknowledge and thank our partner agencies, MAFAR (Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform), BHRC (Bangsamoro Human Rights Commission), and MILG (Ministry of Local Government) for wholeheartedly accepting our volunteers and supporting this program. Your partnership is vital in shaping our youth leaders!

Our volunteers will render full-time service, gain hands-on experience in governance, assist in program implementation, and engage in community development work under the guidance of your designated mentors.

Here's to a productive and meaningful journey of service, learning, and leadership!

The BYVP Cohort 2 has concluded today’s training, gaining comprehensive knowledge on the history, governance, and structure of the BARMM. The session covered essential standards including data privacy, workplace conduct under the Safe Spaces Act, and professional ethics rooted in integrity, accountability, and Islamic values of trustworthiness, justice, and sincerity.

Our volunteers are now fully prepared to serve with professionalism, responsibility, and dedication to the public interest.

The Bangsamoro Youth Commission - Lanao del Sur with Marawi City conducted courtesy visits and coordination meetings with the provincial offices of MENRE, MAFAR, BHRC, and MILG. These engagements introduced the Bangsamoro Youth Volunteers Program (BYVP) Cohort 2, explored partnership opportunities, and discussed volunteer deployment and areas of engagement.

This initiative aims to provide youth with practical exposure to governance and public service, fostering meaningful contribution to the region’s development. We express our gratitude to the offices for their continued support and collaboration.

✅ PEACE AND ENVIRONMENTAL: Small Actions, Big Environmental Impact
Organized by: Kalumbayan Youth Organization (KAYO)

Focused on how simple, daily actions create huge positive change, while linking environmental care to building and sustaining peace in our communities.

✅ PAMANA: Bangsamoro History as Foundation for Youth Empowerment Towards Peace and Environmental Stewardship
Organized by: MUSLIMA YOUNG WOMEN ASSOCIATION

📍 Held at Barangay Tambo & Barangay Pantar, Madamba
Through discussions on Bangsamoro history, culture, and identity, plus talks on leadership and responsibility, young participants learned how our roots guide us to become guardians of peace and protectors of nature.

From learning our history to taking action for our planet—these activities remind us: empowered youth, strong heritage, and a healthy environment are the keys to lasting peace.

The Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) conducted simultaneous interview activities for the selection of applicants to the Bangsamoro Youth Volunteers Program (BYVP) Cohort 2 across several provincial offices in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

The interview activities were held in the BYC Provincial Offices of Tawi-Tawi on May 4, Maguindanao, Cotabato City and Special Geographic Areas (MagCotSGA) on May 5, Lanao del Sur on May 6, and Basilan on May 7, 2026.

BYVP is a flagship program of the Commission that provides young people with the opportunity to directly engage with government offices and public service.

The coordinated selection process aimed to identify qualified and committed young individuals who will serve as Bangsamoro youth volunteers in their respective communities.

Applicants underwent a structured interview process to assess their qualifications, leadership potential, commitment to volunteerism, and readiness to contribute to community development initiatives. (BYC PR Unit/FATM)

We are pleased to announce the successful conduct of the Mainstreaming BYC-ReAP activity held yesterday, April 30 – May 1, 2026!

This activity gathered representatives from various youth organizations to guide and assist them in the formal registration and accreditation process.

𝑩𝒀𝑪-𝑹𝒆𝑨𝑷 serves as the official mechanism to register and accredit youth organizations within the BARMM. It opens doors to valuable resources, opportunities, and privileges, while ensuring that initiatives align with our goals for holistic youth development.

Aside from the registration process, the program also featured insightful lectures and discussions on 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑, 𝑴𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 & 𝑵𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒔𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒐 𝑯𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚. We believe that understanding our roots and developing good character are essential foundations for the youth as they stand on their own and lead their respective organizations.
