𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦, the Municipality of Maramag has been experiencing heavy rainfall in the afternoon to the evening of September 17, 2025, due to the Tropical Depression " MIRASOL", as reported in Rainfal Advisory Nos. 1 & 3 with weather system Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) issued at 4:00PM and 8:00PM respectively, resulting in hazardous conditions across various barangays;

𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦, reports from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and concerned barangay officials confirm landslides in portions of Barangay Panalsalan, posing serious risks to residents and commuters;

𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦, flashfloods have been reported in Barangay Dologon, particularly within the vicinity of Central Mindanao University, disrupting normal activities and endangering lives;

𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦, flooding has also affected Barangay North Poblacion and Barangay South Poblacion, further aggravating the safety concerns for students, faculty, and school personnel;

𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦, the safety and welfare of students and educational staff are of paramount importance, and proactive measures must be taken to prevent any untoward incidents;
