Pride Month is often seen as a celebration of expression, but at its core, it is a protest rooted in history, shaped by struggle, and carried forward by courage. It is a powerful reminder that the LGBTQIA+ community are not trends, phases, or labels meant to be debated or diminished, but real people whose existence carries truth, and meaning.

This is a reminder that being yourself is not something small. It's something brave. And that bravery deserves recognition not just in this month, but always. 𝑩𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅, 𝒆𝒙𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆, 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒂𝒍𝒍. 💖

𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲 | May 28

Today, we proudly raise the Philippine flag as we commemorate National Flag Day. This is a reminder of the sacrifice and unwavering patriotism of the Filipinos who fought for our freedom and identity as a nation. Its colors and symbols reflect the heart of every Filipino: the blue for 𝑝𝑒𝑎𝑐𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑒, the red for 𝑝𝑎𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑡𝑖𝑠𝑚 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑣𝑎𝑙𝑜𝑟, the white triangle stands for 𝑒𝑞𝑢𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑙𝑖𝑏𝑒𝑟𝑡𝑦, and the golden sun and stars represent the country's 𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑢𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑝𝑖𝑟𝑖𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝑒𝑑𝑜𝑚.

As we raise our national flag, may we also raise our sense of responsibility as citizens. Let this day inspire us to continue honoring the legacy of our heroes through our actions, discipline, and dedication to serving the community and the country.

This statement aims to provide students with a clear and comprehensive overview of how our funds were managed in support of programs, activities, and initiatives conducted throughout the term.
