In honor of National Women’s Month, CG COMMO MITZIE SILVA-CAMPO, a trailblazing figure as the first female commodore of the PCG among line officers, honored the Coast Guard Logistics Systems Command with her esteemed presence. She graciously imparted her remarkable journey within the service, highlighting her pivotal role in advancing gender equality and empowering women in the maritime sector. "The best protection any woman can have is courage." - Elizabeth Cady Stanton

In strong support of the 18-day Campaign to End Violence against Women and Children, the Coast Guard Logistics Systems Command aims to amplify voices, educate our communities, and stand in solidarity against all forms of violence. By cultivating awareness, let us empower individuals to break the silence surrounding gender-based violence and encourage survivors to speak out without fear of judgment.

Let us strive to create a workplace that is inclusive and free from discrimination, and harassment. The elimination of violence against women is a shared responsibility, requiring the collaboration of individuals, communities, governments, and organizations.
