𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟏𝟏𝟎𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐃𝐂 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

04 June 2026- The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology and 1106th Community Defense Center, 11RCDG, RESCOM, PA has forged into signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA ) as part of the requirement for the activation of SPAMAST ROTC UNIT. The ceremonial signing was attended by COL CALIXTO D CADANO JR ART (GSC) PA, Group Commander ably represented by COL REY T ALVARADO INF (GSC) PA, 1106CDC Director and SUC President DR LYNETTE A BONTIA, Ph.D. held at SPAMAST Conference Room, in Poblacion, Malita, Davao Occidental.

During the informal program at about 1100H, Prof. Tarra Dawn C Marquez, NSTP Director welcomed the guests and subsequently followed by the signing of the MOA. In closing, both COL ALVARADO and DR BONTIA gave their message of support emphasizing for a stronger commitment and sustainable initiatives for the strict implementation of the NSTP-ROTC programs of the school. The activity ended at about 1130H the same day.

𝟏𝟏𝟎𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐃𝐂 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲

16 May 2026 - The 1106th CDC, 11RCDG, RESCOM, PA facilitated the SPAMAST ROTC UNIT Joint Graduation Ceremony of Basic and Advance ROTC SY 2025-26 at the Founder's Hall, SPAMAST Main Campus, Poblacion, Malita, Davao Occidental with HON MARK EDWARD ANTHONY M MARUYA, M.D, the Municipal Mayor of Don Marcelino, DOCC as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

At about 0900H, an Invocation followed by an Honor of the Flag commenced the activity. It was opened by a remark of Prof Tarra Dawn C Marquez, MSCJ, the NSTP Director; while TSg Januar C Ariem (Inf) PA, Chief Clerk presented the candidates to COL REY T ALVARADO INF (GSC) PA, ROTC Commandant declaring the Cadets as graduates.

After which, the distribution of Certificates of Completion and Awards was graced by the Guest of Honor and Speaker assisted by the Commandant, NSTP Director and ROTC Coordinator respectively.

During the program, both Incoming and Outgoing ROTC Corps Commander exchanged their posts during Relinquishment and Assumption of Command and Supervision followed by a departing message of CDT 1CL JARRA REJAN OTORDOZ, the outgoing Corps Commander. In the message of the GOHAS, Mayor Maruya, congratulated all the graduating Cadets for choosing ROTC from the NSTP program. He inspires the Cadets for being a former Advance ROTC cadet and also a Corps Commander of Ateneo de Davao University ROTC Unit during his college days. He further convinced the graduates to recruit more incoming freshmen to enroll in ROTC in the succeeding school year. He also gave thanks to the Training Committee for being chosen to be part of the graduation ceremony.

The program was also attended by Dr Fe T Canoy, the Director of Instruction representing the SUC President. Activity ended at about 1130H same day.

13 May 2026 -The 1106th Community Defense Center, 11RCDG, RESCOM, PA has facilitated the Ribbon Cutting and signing of a Memorandum of Partnership (MOPA) Agreement between this Center headed by COL REY T ALVARADO INF (GSC) PA and BLGU Poblacion, Sta. Maria under the leadership of HON RYAN E CARR, Punong Barangay for the utilization of BLGU facilities that will serve as Municipal Mobilization Center for the 1106RRIBn, PA with the attendance of COL ROMEO N BAUTISTA III GSC (INF) PA, ADCRAA, 10ID as Keynote Speaker.

At about 0900H, the activity commenced by a Cutting of Ribbon officiated by the Keynote Speaker, the Barangay Chairman of Poblacion, Sta Maria with the attendance of COL CALIXTO D CADANO JR ART (GSC), PA, Group Commander, 11RCDG; LTC BRIGOLI PA, EX-O, 1002Bde; MAJ CALOLOT PA, EX-O, 73IB; PMAJ HIBAYA, COP Sta Maria Police Station, MAJ EMPIMO, PA (RES) of 1106th RRIBn and Reservists, 1106CDC Organic Personnel, and Barangay Officials and Tanods.

The formal program started by an invocation of SSg Jorge D Bayhon (Inf) PA then followed by the honor of the flag. Right after, Brgy Captain Carr, welcomed the guests and gave thanks to the 1106th CDC for hosting and choosing their barangay as the Reservist Mobilization Center in the province.

It was followed by a briefing of COL ALVARADO on the overview, objectives, purpose and contents of the Partnership Agreement. Meanwhile, COL CADANO JR gave his message of support prior to the signing of the Agreement between the 1106CDC and BLGU Poblacion, Sta. Maria.

In closing, COL BAUTISTA III delivered his message emphasizing that the event marks a milestone for a stronger commitment for community service and inter-agency partnership ofboth civilian and military agencies of government. The Mobilization Center will now serve as a hub for various types of collaboration in different thrusts and programs of both agency; and extend his gratitude to the BLGU for their commitments and services. The activity ended at about 1030H the same day.

𝐏𝐀𝐀𝐓𝐈 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭

09 May 2026 - The 1106th CDC, 11RCDG, RESCOM, PA headed by COL REY T ALVARADO INF (GSC) PA, CDC Director/ ROTC Commandant facilitated the conduct of Provincial Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (PAATI) SY 2025- 2026 to the SPAMAST ROTC Unit with MAJ JOHNARD U SARA- SARA (INF) PA, as the Chairperson of the Evaluation Team.

At about 0900H, MAJ SARA-SARA was received by MAJ BERNIE D EMPIMO PA (RES) Asst. Commandant during the Arrival Honors. Afterwhich, the Chairman of the PAATI Evaluation Team together with the ROTC Commandant paid a courtesy call to DR LYNETTE A BONTIA, SUC President prior to the start of the activity.

The program proper started with an opening remarks of Prof Tarra Dawn C Marquez, MSCJ and followed by the Relinquishment and Assumption of Command and Control between the Commandant and the Chairman of Evaluation respectively. After a series of evaluations to SPAMAST ROTCU in different military stakes, it garnered remarkable remarks of 97.46% overall total in all events. In response, Dr Bontia, gave her inspirational message to the Cadet Corps and gave her personal impression on the performance of the Cadets.

Moreover, the President also gave special thanks to the Training Staff under the dynamic leadership of COL ALVARADO as the Commandant. Activity ended at about 1200H on the same day.

30 April 2026- The 1106th CDC, 11RCDG facilitated the ROTC Field Exposure and Rifle Marksmanship Training to more ir less 80 Advance & Basic ROTC Cadets of SPAMAST ROTC Unit held at 73IB Parade Ground and Firing Range in Brgy Felis, Malita Davao Occidental.

At about 0700H, an informal program was conducted at 73IB covered court. 1LT LIEZL ANN J GALLAZA (AGS) PA, Personnel Officer 73IB gives an orientation then followed by the message of COL REY T ALVARADO INF (GSC) PA, CDC Director/Commandant. Thereafer a video presentation about the CTG Youth Infiltration, Violent Extremism, and the West Philippine Sea that followed. Right after, there was a capability demonstration presented by the Scout Platoon of 73IB and a short lecture on the fundamentals of Marksmanship by TSg Januar D Ariem (Inf) PA, Chief Clerk prior to the actual Marksmanship Training (Firing) held at 73IB Firing Range, Upper Felis, Malita Davao Occidental. The Activity ended at about 1500H same day.

30 April 2026- The 1106CDC personnel led by SSg Jorge D Bayhon (Inf) PA, CMO NCO together with Twelve (12) Enlisted Reservist from 1106th RRIBn under Sgt Alfredo P Mendez PA (Res) participated the Mangrove Awareness and Mangrove Planting 2026 in celebration of Earth Day in Sta Maria, Davao Occidental.

The activity started by an informal program at about 0800. Hon. Bobby D Medallo, Brgy Kagawad of Brgy Sto. Rosario, Sta Maria welcome the participants and give his special thanks to Malita Power Inc for choosing Brgy Sto Rosario as the recipient community for the mangrove planting. The event was facilitated by the Malita Power Plant Inc with the collaboration of PENRO-DOCC and also in partnership of 73IB, Phil Coastguard, DePEd Sta Maria; BFP Sta Maria, 1106CDC and various stakeholders. The objective of the activity is to preserve the coastal ecosystem, and habitat restoration with a total of 2,000 mangroves planted in the area. Activity ended at about 1100H same day.

09 April 2026- The 1106th Community Defense Center, 11RCDG, RESCOM, PA facilitated the conduct of the RCPA-Wide“LAKAD KALAYAAN 2026 and Flag Raising Ceremony” in observance of the 84th Araw ng Kagitingan with the theme:"Giting ng Bayani, Pamana sa Salinlahi" in commemoration of the courage, resilience, and sacrifices of Filipino- American Soldiers during the Second World War.

The activity commenced at 0700H with a foot march/parade traversing the Demoloc-Little Bagiuo-Alabel National Road along Sitio San Roque going to Hqs 73IB, Brgy Felis, Malita, Davao Occidental with an approximate distance of 2 kilometers. The event was participated by the following various national and local government agencies: 1106RRIBn, PA; 73IB, 10ID; MPS-Malita,PNP; BFP, PCG, Task Force Malita and Malita Traffic Management Center with a total of 140 participants.

Right after the parade, a Flag Raising in honor of the veterans was conducted followed by a short program. FSINSP JOHN REX J PLAYDA, Municipal Fire Marshal and LTJG ROBERT G PALTING, PCG expressed their message of support to the event, while COL REY T ALVARADO INF (GSC) PA, CDC Director gave his inspirational message and express his special thanks to the different agencies who responded the invitation during the event.

06 April 2026 - At about 1000H, the Director of 1106CDC, 11RCDG, RCPA COL REY T ALVARADO INF (GSC) PA together with Cpl Mark Anthony Juarez (Inf) PA, Trng NCO paid a courtesy visit to Dr Glinard L Quezada FPSGS, MBA-HA, Medical Center Chief of Davao Occidental General Hospital and in attendance also Mr Molky Marjoni, DOGH Supervising Administrative Officer at Brgy Lacaron, Malita, Davao Occidental.

The primary purpose of visit was the initial coordination of the upcoming Physical and Medical Examination of Category 1 and 2 Reservists of 1106RRIBN, PA prior to the conduct of their Physical Fitness Test; relevant matters about Reserve Force Development; and also the proposed Memorandum of Partnership between the two agencies. Activity ended at 1115H the same day.

At about 0500H, the Training Committee and Staff of SPAMAST ROTCU led by TSg Januar C Ariem (Inf) PA, Chief Clerk & SSg Jorge D Bayhon (Inf) PA, TAC NCO assisted by the Advance ROTC Cadets facilitated the conduct of Diagnostic Physical Fitness Test to Twenty Six (26) aspiring Officers of Cadet Officers Candidate Course (COCC) of SPAMAST ROTCU as requirements prior to take the PARCQE.

The diagnostic PFT consists of Push-up, Pull-up, Sit-up & 3.2 Km run within SPAMAST Campus, Poblacion Malita Davao Occidental. Activity ended at about 0700H same day
