Importante ang padayon nga panag-uban sa mga Barangay IPMRs, Tribal Chieftains, ug mga lider sa ancestral domain aron mas lig-on ang representasyon ug mas klaro ang tingog sa atong mga katawhang IP sa matag barangay ug komunidad.

The City IPMR's Office participated in a consultation meeting initiated by NAPOCOR regarding its proposed projects within several Ancestral Domains (ADs) traversed by rivers and major creeks that serve as tributaries of the Pulangi River.

The meeting focused on the discussion and crafting of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) that will serve as the basis for the implementation of the proposed livelihood projects in the concerned Ancestral Domains.

The participating Ancestral Domains include:

โ€ข Daraghuyan Ancestral Domain
โ€ข Baleteon Ancestral Domain
โ€ข BUHITA Ancestral Domain
โ€ข BUKDA Ancestral Domain
โ€ข CEBUKTA Ancestral Domain

Kini nga inisyatibo nagsugod pinaagi sa proposal nga gipangulohan ni Datu Sangkuan Jemuel Perino, uban sa tabang sa NCIP Region X ug NCIP Bukidnon, nga gisumite mga 10 ka tuig na ang milabay. Ang maong proposal nagtumong sa pagpalambo sa mga komunidad nga nagdumala ug nagpanalipod sa upstream areas ug mga suba sa Pulangi River, nga maoy nagasuplay og tubig sa Pulangi IV Hydroelectric Power Plant nga gipadagan sa NAPOCOR.

The City IPMR Office was honored to take part in the Kalasungay Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration and the Turnover Ceremony of the Tulugan Building, a meaningful gathering that celebrated our rich cultural heritage and reaffirmed our shared commitment to protecting the rights and identity of our Indigenous Peoples.

Our heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Mayor Jay Warren R. Pabillaran for his continued support of programs and initiatives that empower our IP communities.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who graced the occasion, including Konsehal Brian Flores, Provincial IPMR Datu Makayuba Renato Sumbongan, Former Provincial IPMR Datu Arbie Illesis, Engr.
