PUBLIC ADVISORY

The Municipal Government of Makato informs the public that Executive Order No. 23, Series of 2026 has been issued by Mayor Hon. Leoncito Y. Mationg adopting a four-day on-site work arrangement with Work-From-Home (WFH) on Fridays for municipal government employees. Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 114 “Directing All Government Agencies and Instrumentalities to Strictly Adopt Energy Conservation Protocols” issued by the Office of the President on March 6, 2026

Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On-site work)
Friday: Work-From-Home (WFH) for personnel whose functions allow remote work.

This initiative supports the National Government's energy conservation efforts while ensuring the continuous delivery of public services to the people of Makato.

Offices that will continue on-site operations on Fridays include:
• Municipal Health Office and health facilities
• MDRRMO
• MSWDO
• Makato Police Station and other peace and order units
• Market operations, sanitation, and environmental services
• Other frontline offices as determined by the Municipal Mayor

All concerned offices will ensure that public transactions remain accessible and that services continue without interruption.

Effectivity: March 9, 2026 until revoked or amended.
