WILDLIFE RESCUE
IN PHOTOS II Mabuhay Municipal Fire Station personnel led by SFO4 Eric B Mancao, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, successfully conducted a rescue operation for a Python (sawa). Through careful and safe handling, the animal was secured without harm, ensuring the safety of both the public and the creature. ππ¨π
We are pleased to announce that the rescued python has been FORMALLY TURNED OVER to the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) today.
The turnover was done in accordance with wildlife protection laws. The authorities facilitates the proper release of the animal back to its natural habitat β a safe environment where it belongs, away from human settlements. π³πΏ
This successful operation reflects our commitment not only to public safety but also to the protection and conservation of our wildlife and natural resources.
We remind everyone: Under the Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act, these animals are protected. If you encounter wildlife, do not attempt to handle or harm them. Immediately report to the BFP, MENRO, or nearest authorities for proper action.
