DIALOGUE AND DISTRIBUTION OF IEC MATERIALS TO PREVENT CRIMES

On June 3, 2026, personnel of Maasin Municipal Police Station distributed leaflets about Ill-Effects of Illegal Drugs and Crime Prevention Tips to the marketgoers at Maasin Public Market, Maasin, Iloilo.

MOBILEPATROL OPERATION

In line with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Safer Cities Initiative, Maasin MPS conducted mobile patrol operations along the streets of the town proper of Maasin, Iloilo in the evening of June 2, 2026, to enforce existing ordinances including the prohibition of public drinking and the use of makeshift street tables for liquor consumption, and the restriction against shirtless roaming in public places.

The activity aimed to promote discipline, deter petty crimes and disorderly conduct, and ensure compliance with local ordinances.
