Following the deeply felt loss of the late Honorable Kagawad Alan A. Gases, a vacant seat was left within the B**a Barangay Council. To ensure the continuity of public service and to honor the legacy of leadership within the community, Lou Franco M. Gases was officially appointed to step into the role of Barangay Kagawad.

The formal appointment and subsequent Oath-Taking Ceremony today, June 01, 2026 at the Mayor’s Office marked an emotional yet pivotal moment for the municipality. Attended by fellow barangay officials headed by PB Ceasar B. Salise, the ceremony symbolized both a solemn remembrance of Hon. Alan Gases's dedication to B**a and a forward-looking commitment to the community's welfare.

With his hand raised and Mayor Wellie G. Lim administering the oath, Kagawad Lou Franco M. Gases officially swore to uphold the constitution, enforce local ordinances, and faithfully discharge his duties. By stepping into this vacancy, Kagawad Gases assumes the responsibility of advocating for the residents of Barangay B**a, carrying forward a shared vision of unity, progress, and community-first governance.
