After successfully meeting the deadline for the submission of Financial Statements for CY2025, the Association of Local Government Accountants of Quezon (ALGAZon), Inc. held its first regular monthly meeting on February 20, 2026, at Jardin de Pio in Tayabas City.

The meeting also featured an awarding ceremony led by the Commission on Audit (COA) LGAS E Quezon I and II, headed by SA Christopher H. Perez and SA Perlita V. Enopia, respectively. The ceremony recognized the Top 10 municipalities that demonstrated excellence and diligence by submitting their CY 2024 financial statements ahead of schedule:

🥈Top 2 - MA Michael John L. Boragay (Municipality of Plaridel)

🥉 Top 3 - MA Ma. Lorena V. Carabido (Municipality of San Narciso)

🏅Top 4 - MA Ma. Judith D. Batalla (Municipality of Tagkawayan)

🏅Top 5 - MA Cristine A. Waje (Municipality of Gumaca)

🏅 Top 6 - MA Melanie Rose N. Targa (Municipality of Macalelon)

🏅 Top 7 - MA Ma. Doris B. Bigyan (Municipality of Tiaong)

🏅 Top 8 - MA Zyrene U. Generoso-Amparo (Municipality of Unisan)

🏅 Top 9 - MA Delita L. Manuba (Municipality of Pagbilao)

🏅 Top 10 - MA Rena M. See (Municipaity of Polillo) and MA Julie A. Reforma (Municipality of Catanauan)

The ceremony highlighted the commitment of local government accountants to transparency, accountability, and timely financial reporting.

The 𝙰𝚜𝚜𝚘𝚌𝚒𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚘𝚏 𝙻𝚘𝚌𝚊𝚕 𝙶𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚗𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝 𝙰𝚌𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚝𝚊𝚗𝚝𝚜 𝚘𝚏 𝚀𝚞𝚎𝚣𝚘𝚗 (𝙰𝙻𝙶𝙰𝚉𝚘𝚗) recently convened for a highly productive 𝒴𝑒𝒶𝓇-𝐸𝓃𝒹 𝐹𝒾𝓃𝒶𝓃𝒸𝒾𝒶𝓁 𝒜𝓈𝓈𝑒𝓈𝓈𝓂𝑒𝓃𝓉 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒫𝓁𝒶𝓃𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒞𝑜𝓃𝒻𝑒𝓇𝑒𝓃𝒸𝑒. This event served as an important platform for collaboration and the exchange of ideas, as we collectively work to strengthen local government financial management for a brighter future.
