The Department of Labor and Employment – Quezon Provincial Office (DOLE-QPO) wishes to inform the public of the upcoming holidays for the month of August 2026:

August 19 (Wednesday): Quezon Day - Republic Act No. 6741
August 20 (Thursday): Araw ng Lucena - Proclamation No. 1365 series of 2026
August 21 (Friday): Ninoy Aquino - Proclamation No. 1006 series of 2025

In observance of the above-mentioned holidays, DOLE-QPO will be closed to the public on these dates. Regular office transactions will resume on MONDAY, AUGUST 24, 2026.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Quezon successfully conducted an Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Orientation on August 13, 2026, at the Barangay San Lorenzo Covered Court in Mauban, Quezon. This initiative was made possible through the request and strong initiative of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of LGU Mauban, led by Ms. Maricon Kaye Pastrana-Arenas, MGDH I – PESO Manager.

Aimed at raising vital OSH awareness, strengthening workplace hazard prevention, and championing everyday safe work practices, the orientation brought 40 active participants from Barangay San Lorenzo. Through their active engagement and the dedicated leadership of PESO Mauban, this collaborative effort proved that safety starts with us. Together, we continue to foster secure, productive, and accident-free communities and workplaces.

In line with Memorandum Circular No. 127, s. 2026 issued by the Office of the President, government offices in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon will implement a 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸-𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺-𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 starting at noon today, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆), due to severe weather conditions brought by the southwest monsoon.

For private companies, suspension of work is at the discretion of their respective management.

While our physical offices are closed, DOLE CALABARZON’s online services and digital platforms remain accessible for inquiries and concerns.

DOLE Expands TUPAD BIOS Implementation Across Bondoc Peninsula - Quezon Province ⛰️🌳

The Department of Labor and Employment is continuously rolling out the TUPAD Biometrics Integrated Online System (TUPAD BIOS) across the entire province of Quezon, following recent implementations in the municipalities of Agdangan, Mulanay, and San Narciso this half of August, covering a total of 860 beneficiaries.

This digital transition is designed to strengthen the delivery of the TUPAD Emergency Employment program by enforcing stricter guidelines that ensure beneficiaries can only avail themselves of the program once per calendar year, allowing aid to reach more disadvantaged workers.

This initiative reflects the commitment of DOLE Secretary Francis N. TOLentino to nurture resilient communities, promote decent work, and bring government services closer to the people.

Another successful milestone for our community! 🎣🚣✨

A significant step forward for our community was successfully achieved as we held the TUPAD Orientation yesterday at the Brgy. Pili Covered Court in Sariaya, Quezon, gathering a total of 701 disadvantaged workers, with the majority coming from our local fisherfolk sector.

To ensure a fair, transparent, and orderly distribution of emergency employment programs, we continue to strengthen the implementation of the TUPAD Beneficiary Information and Operational System (BIOS). Through its continuous enhancement and strict utilization, TUPAD BIOS helps prevent duplication and ensures compliance with the guideline of one beneficiary per family per calendar year, promoting greater accountability, transparency, and efficiency in the delivery of TUPAD assistance.

This initiative reflects the commitment of DOLE Secretary Francis N. TOLentino to nurture resilient communities, promote decent work, and bring government services closer to the people.
