As one chapter closes, a legacy of service, leadership, and dedication lives on.

The SSLG Officers did more than fulfill their roles. They left meaningful footprints in the hearts of the learners they served and the community they led. Through challenges, growth, and shared moments, they became true voices of the student body and champions of positive change.

𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍 𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐒: 𝐕𝐎𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 || True strength lies in lifting others up. This coming March 27, 2026, the Institutional Community Extension Service (ICES), Ating Barkada Kontra Droga (ABKD), and Sangguniang Kabataan will be at Cotta National High School for a special mission dedicated to our young women.

Our goal is simple yet profound: to remind every girl that she has the power to lead, to dream, and to rise. Beyond words of encouragement, we are providing essential "girl kits" containing daily necessities to support their health, confidence, and well-being.

As we invest in the youth, we invest in the future. As the saying goes, "When women support each other, incredible things happen."

Let’s stand together to ensure no girl is left behind.

In celebration of National Women’s Month 2026, the Faculty Club, in partnership with the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) and the Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Cotta National High School, proudly presents Juana ng Taon 2026, a recognition honoring inspiring women in our school community.

As part of the National Women’s Month Celebration, a video presentation will be held tomorrow featuring the nominees from both the Teachers’ and Students’ Categories, recognizing their dedication, leadership, and meaningful contributions to the school and community.

This coming March 06, 2026 at 05:00 PM, Cotta National High School will conduct a Flag Retirement Ceremony with the theme “Hibla ng Nakaraan, Diwa ng Kalayaan.”

This solemn ceremony will honor the proper and respectful retirement of worn-out Philippine flags that have faithfully symbolized our nation’s history, sacrifice, and freedom. Through this meaningful activity, the school community will reaffirm its commitment to uphold respect for the Philippine flag and the enduring values of patriotism and national pride.

This event will be made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP), Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP), A.P. Junior Historians’ Club, The Port – Journalism Club, the Filipino Department, and the Araling Panlipunan Department.
