Previously known as ICT-Based Disaster Communication System (ICTBDCS), Hazard Notification, Dissemination and Awareness (HaNDA) is a tool developed by DOST CALABARZON to capacitate RDRRMC 4A in its information dissemination and data collection/gathering activities. The system also generates visual representation of "almost" real-time weather condition in CALABARZON Region through the integration o

f ASTI-developed Automatic Weather Stations (AWS), Automatic Ratin Gauges (ARG) and Water Level Monitoring Stations (WLMS). Aside from that, the system is a repository of disaster-related information such as hazard maps, type of disaster, what to do in cases of its occurrence, directory of local DRRM officials etc. The system will also have public inquiry and assistance functionalities wherein the general public can inquire about the latest bulletins from advisory giving bodies such as PAGASA, NDRRMC, PHIVOLCS, etc.
