SFBNHS Citizen's Charter Frontline Services

In compliance with Republic Act (RA) No. 11032, otherwise known as the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, San Francisco National High School proudly presents its updated Citizen’s Charter.

This updated charter serves as the school’s official guidebook to faster, more transparent, and highly efficient public services. Designed with students, parents, and community stakeholders in mind, it provides explicit, step-by-step procedures for essential school transactions, including enrollment, the issuance of official records (such as report cards and permanent records), and certifications.

By clearly outlining required documents and specific processing turnaround times for each service, SFBNHS aims to completely eliminate bureaucratic red tape. The administration emphasizes that this initiative is a firm step toward fostering greater accountability, minimizing delays, and ensuring that every transaction reflects the school's commitment to excellent public service.

33 Years of Shaping Futures: Principal Jean H. Villela Marks Milestone DepEd Service

Consistency, dedication, and transformative leadership define the 33-year journey of Jean H. Villela, School Principal II, as the community of San Francisco B National High School (SFBNHS) rallies together to honor her fruitful decades of service in the Department of Education (DepEd).

From her humble beginnings in the classroom to steering the helm of one of the district’s prominent high schools, Principal Villela’s legacy is written in the lives of the thousands of students she has nurtured, many of whom are now successful professionals in their chosen fields.

A Journey of 33 Years: From Classroom to Campus Leadership

Principal Villela’s career is a testament to growth and unwavering commitment to public education. She first entered the noble profession of teaching at Sampaloc National High School in Pitogo, Quezon. Her passion for molding young minds continued to flourish as she served at Villa Perez National High School.

Recognizing her innate leadership capabilities, she was later promoted to Principal I at Bantad National High School where she served from 2014-2017. After that, she was transferred at Camohaguin National High School as their principal, where she honed her administrative skills before eventually taking on her current role as School Principal II at San Francisco B National High School last September 2022.

Upon her arrival at SFBNHS, Principal Villela seamlessly continued the mission, vision, projects, and structural improvements initiated by her esteemed predecessors, Mr. Tadeo Ardiente, Ms. Marissa Cortez and Ms. Jenette Panoso, ensuring a smooth transition of excellence.

Four Years of Rapid Transformation: A Look at the Campus Today

In a span of almost four years under her direct supervision, SFBNHS has undergone a massive physical and operational transformation. Guided by her mantra of providing a safe and conducive learning environment, several major facility upgrades were successfully completed:

Upgraded Essential Hubs: Complete renovation of the school canteen, school clinic, school faculty offices, and the dedicated SSLG (Supreme Secondary Learner Government) and DRRM (Disaster Risk Reduction and Management) office.

Enhanced Connectivity: Construction of a covered pathway and cemented walkways connecting different school buildings, alongside the establishment of a student-friendly campus pergola.

Campus Beautification: The entire campus was given a vibrant new life through the repainting of classroom walls and school fences.

Eco and Utility Upgrades: A Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) was built to promote sustainability. Furthermore, the school's electrical and water systems underwent extensive repairs, highlighted by the installation of a new water tank through the generous support of community stakeholders.

Holistic Growth: Empowering Teachers, Students, and Community

Principal Villela’s leadership style goes beyond brick-and-mortar improvements; she is a champion of human resource development and holistic student growth.

"Her love and dedication to her work is truly immeasurable, running the school's daily operations smoothly while lifting everyone around her," a member of the SFBNHS faculty shared.

Under her watch, numerous teaching and non-teaching staff members have achieved promotions to higher teaching positions and school headships.

Student empowerment has also reached new heights. Student leaders have confidently taken center stage and shone in the District Level SSLG elections, while student-athletes successfully showcased their grit and sportsmanship all the way to the Provincial Level competitions.

Furthermore, the school’s academic interventions have been highly dynamic. In partnership with local universities, student teachers have actively assisted in honing the talents and skills of the learners, particularly through critical literacy and numeracy remediations under the ARAL Program.

A Shared Triumph with Stakeholders

None of these milestones would have been possible without the strong culture of collaboration Principal Villela fostered. Parents, stakeholders, and volunteers have become active co-creators of the school's success, eagerly participating in school-based and district-level activities, proving that education is indeed a community effort.

As Principal Jean H. Villela celebrates 33 stellar years in DepEd, the entire SFBNHS community sends its warmest congratulations and prayers, wishing that the Lord continue to bless her with health, wisdom, and strength as she continues her life's mission—a leader who nurtures, inspires, and transforms.

SSLG Pageant Funds Drive Makeover for SFBNHS Old Building

Transformation is officially underway at the San Francisco B National High School (SFBNHS) old building, thanks to the successful mobilization of student-led funds.

The much-needed facility upgrade is being financed entirely by the proceeds from the recent Search for Campus King and Queen 2026, a flagship project spearheaded by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) through the guidance of Lorena R. Asilo - SSLG adviser, Anthony M. Castillo - School Project Development Officer Designate and Jean H. Villela - SFBNHS School Principal II.

The reconstruction which started last May, focused on giving the structure a fresh look and improved functionality, including:

Repainting of faded exterior and interior walls.

Refurbishing and painting of doors and window grills for enhanced security and aesthetics.

Installing partitions to optimize the building's interior space for better classroom or office utilization.

Restoring and securing the building's ceiling.

The momentum continues today, June 12, as team members return to the site to finalize the remaining repairs.

This facility will be the new SSLG and SDRRM office.

The realization of this project highlights the powerful synergy between the school and the community it serves. The SFBNHS faculty and staff expressed deep appreciation for the stakeholders who championed the cause from day one.

"We extend our sincerest gratitude to all who made this project possible. Thank you so much for the never-ending support of the parents, students, and other stakeholders in the community in our previous school activities and programs. Your dedication remains geared towards the continuous improvement of our school's facilities."

With the SSLG’s initiative and the community's unwavering backing, the newly revitalized old building stands as a testament to what SFBNHS can achieve when working together for the welfare of its learners.
