The first day of the festival featured the challenging "Tower of Hanoi" competition, open to all grade levels, as well as dedicated categories for teachers and parents, promoting widespread involvement across the school community. Adding to the excitement were rounds of Damath and Modulo, two popular mathematical games that encourage strategic thinking and problem-solving. Participants showcased their mathematical prowess throughout the day in a spirit of healthy competition.
Day 2: February 27, 2026
Today, the second and final day of the festival, the competition continued with a diverse range of contests. Highlights included a Math Quiz for grades 1 to 6, as well as events focused on Priority and Gainers, Math Relay, and Mathematical Investigation. These activities tested participants’ quick thinking, teamwork, and deep understanding of mathematical concepts, keeping the energy high and the engagement level up among all attendees.
The results for all events held across both days were announced during the awarding ceremony, which was graced by the presence of Public School District Supervisor Madam Ellen Fernandez and several school heads from participating institutions. Their attendance underscored the importance of the initiative in advancing mathematical education in the district.
The event aimed to make learning mathematics an enjoyable and interactive experience for everyone involved, and the turnout, enthusiasm, and show of support from participating schools over the two days confirmed its resounding success.
