Inaprubahan na ng Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) ang komersiyal na pagbebenta ng AVAC ASF LIVE, ang kauna-unahang bakuna laban sa African Swine Fever (ASF) para sa fatteners na inaprubahan para sa pampublikong pagbebenta. Nagbibigay ito ng panibagong sandata sa naapektuhang industriya ng baboy habang pinabibilis ng pamahalaan ang mga hakbang upang muling mapalago ang populasyon ng baboy sa bansa.

🌊🌿 Pagpalambo sa Panginabuhian sa Atong mga Mangingisda pinaagi sa Seaweeds Farming 🌿🌊

Malampuson nga gipahigayon ang Seaweeds Farming karung adlawa, Sepyembre 2,2026 a sa Nagkahiusang Mananagat ng Barangay Quezon (NMBQ), usa ka importante nga lakang sa paghatag og dugang ug malungtarong panginabuhian alang sa atong mga mangingisda ug ilang mga pamilya.

Dako usab ang suporta sa programa pinaagi sa pag-apod-apod sa farm implements gikan sa BFAR, samtang ang seaweeds propagules gipanghatag pinaagi sa LGU-Libjo. Kini nga mga kagamitan ug materyales makatabang sa atong mga mangingisda sa pagsugod ug pagpalambo sa ilang seaweeds farming isip dugang nga tinubdan sa kita.

Kini nga programa nahimong posible pinaagi sa paningkamot ug suporta ni Mayor Melody Llamera Compasivo uban sa Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO).

📢 PAHIBALO SA TANANG KONSUMANTE SA LIBJO WATER WORKS SYSTEM

Gikan sa Libjo Water Works System (LWWS), ginapahibalo ang tanang residente nga sugod karong adlawa, Setyembre 1, 2026, temporaryong pagasirad-an ang mga koneksyon sa tubig sa tagsa-tagsa ka panimalay tungod sa karon nga pagkahinay sa supply sa tubig.

Aron masiguro nga adunay mahatag nga tubig sa mas daghang panimalay, ang LWWS magbutang ug usa ka communal faucet sa mga itakdang lugar, diin mahimong makasalod ang mga residente ug makakuha sa ilang kinahanglanon nga tubig.

Gihangyo namo ang inyong pagsabot, pakigtambayayong, ug pagsakripisyo niining panahon sa kainit ug pagkahinay sa supply sa tubig. Kini nga lakang gihimo aron mas patas ug mas daghan ang matagaan sa limitado nga supply sa tubig.

𝘿𝙄𝘾𝙏 𝘽𝘼𝙔𝘼𝙉𝙄𝙃𝘼𝙉 𝙎𝙄𝙈 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙅𝙀𝘾𝙏 𝙎𝙐𝘾𝘾𝙀𝙎𝙎𝙁𝙐𝙇𝙇𝙔 𝙄𝙈𝙋𝙇𝙀𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙀𝘿 𝙄𝙉 𝙇𝙄𝘽𝙅𝙊

LIBJO, Dinagat Islands — The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Caraga successfully implemented the Bayanihan SIM Project in selected public schools in the Municipality of Libjo, Dinagat Islands, providing mobile connectivity support to eligible learners and education personnel.

The initiative is in line with Republic Act No. 10929, or the Free Internet Access in Public Places Act, and forms part of the government's continuing efforts to bridge the digital divide, particularly in underserved and unserved communities.

Through the project, beneficiary schools in Libjo received SIM cards with allocated mobile data to support teaching, learning, communication, and other administrative functions. The implementation covered identified primary, adjacent, and expansion schools within the municipality.

The successful conduct of the courtesy visits and distribution activities was made possible through the coordination and support of the Local Government Unit of Libjo, under the leadership of Mayor Melody Llamera Compasivo, in partnership with DICT Caraga and the participating schools.

The Bayanihan SIM Project highlights the importance of collaboration between national government agencies, local government units, and the education sector in ensuring that learners and educators have greater access to digital resources and connectivity.

Through initiatives such as this, the LGU Libjo continues to support programs that empower the youth, strengthen education, and promote inclusive digital transformation in the municipality.
