October 6, 2026 || Graduation of Coconut Farm Business School Training.

The 10-day Coconut Farm Business School (CFBS) Training successfully concluded, equipping coconut farmers with essential knowledge and skills in managing their farms as sustainable and profitable businesses. The training covered 10 key lessons, including CFIDP, farm business management, financial literacy, Good Agricultural Practices, market surveying, goal setting, business planning, record keeping, and group marketing and buying.

Funded by ATI RTC 8 through the CFIDP, the training was facilitated by Mr. Jestoni Cuesta, MAO Assistant HVCDP Coordinator, with the assistance of Mr. Mario Fami, Farmer Counterpart.

It aimed to strengthen the farmers’ entrepreneurial skills, improve farm management and financial practices, and help them identify opportunities to increase their income and livelihood.

The closing program was made more meaningful by the presence of Ms. Hazel Grace Taganas, ATI RTC 8 Center Director. In her message, she encouraged the graduates to share the knowledge they gained, emphasizing that knowledge loses its value when it is kept to oneself, but becomes more valuable when shared with others. She also reminded them that knowledge is unlimited and encouraged them to view every challenge as an opportunity for growth rather than simply a problem.
