💉 MEASLES-RUBELLA SUPPLEMENTAL IMMUNIZATION ACTIVITY (MR-SIA) 2026 💉

Protect Every Child. Prevent Measles and Rubella.

The Municipality of Kananga, through the Kananga Municipal Health Office ( MHO ) in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH), will conduct the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) 2026 starting August 10, 2026.

👶 Who should be vaccinated?

✅ All children aged 6 months to 59 months (4 years and 11 months), regardless of their previous measles vaccination status.

💉 What is MR-SIA?

MR-SIA is a nationwide vaccination campaign that provides an additional dose of the Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccine to eligible children. This helps strengthen their protection against measles and rubella, reduces the risk of outbreaks, and ensures that no child is left unprotected.

❗ Why is it important?

Measles and rubella are highly contagious diseases that can lead to serious complications, especially among young children. Vaccination is the safest and most effective way to protect your child and the community.

📍 Parents and guardians are encouraged to bring their eligible children to the nearest vaccination site or coordinate with your Barangay Health Worker, and Rural Health Midwife.

- Primary Identification: National ID or any other valid government-issued ID.
- 2 back-to-back photocopies of your valid ID with 3 signatures.

Requirements for the Authorized Representative

- 2 Copies each of valid ID (Authorized person) and (Original Beneficiary). kung patay na, need a copy of death certificate with certified true copy.

Ang Barangay Council nagpahibalo nga adunay listahan sa mga potential beneficiaries BATCH 2 para sa "UPLIFT Program" sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), nga gipili pinaagi sa Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS).

Palihug tan-awa ang listahan.
Kung ang inyong ngalan naa sa listahan, palihug pag adto sa barangay hall og dalha ang mosunod:

• National ID (kung wala pa, kinahanglan magparehistro sa PhilSys)
• Kompletong Ngalan ug Petsa sa Pagkatawo (kinahanglan parehas sa National ID)
