431st Araw ng Dulag Celebration

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) actively participated in Hugpong Serbisyo Publiko as part of the celebration of the 431st Araw ng Dulag. The activity brought together various offices and service providers in bringing government services closer and more accessible to the people of Dulag.

Through this initiative, the MSWDO continues to uphold its commitment to responsive, inclusive, and people-centered social services. Celebrating National Disability Rights(NDPR) Week 2026!

With the theme "Rights First: Legislation Forward," the Local Government Unit of Dulag, Leyte, headed by Hon. Jade Artates Agullo, Municipal Mayor, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), proudly celebrated NDPR Week on July 23, 2026.

Led by our dedicated PWD Focal Person, Mr. Michael Laurente, the celebration gathered our beloved Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) from all 45 barangays of Dulag, Leyte for a day filled with learning, fun, and fellowship.

Participants learned more about the PhilHealth YAKAP Program and received helpful "Nutrisyon Tips para sa may Kapansanan," empowering them with valuable information for a healthier and better future.

The afternoon was filled with smiles as everyone enjoyed the Talent Show and Games, showcasing their talents, building friendships, and creating wonderful memories together.

Thank you to everyone who joined and made this celebration meaningful! Together, let's continue building a community where everyone is valued, included, and empowered.

Sometimes, all it takes is a day of laughter, games, and smiles to bring out the child within us. Camp Bulilit reminded everyone children, parents, and teachers alike that learning becomes more meaningful when it is filled with fun, friendship, and unforgettable memories. Every giggle, every activity, and every shared moment was a beautiful reminder that childhood is not just a stage of life—it is a joy that stays in our hearts forever.

The Local Government Unit of Dulag, Leyte, headed by Hon. Jade Artates Agullo, Municipal Mayor, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), successfully conducted Camp Bulilit on July 17, 2026.

The activity was led by Ms. Marivic M. De Luna, ECCD Focal Person, together with the dedicated Day Care Workers of Dulag. It was actively participated in by our Day Care pupils and their parents, creating a meaningful day filled with engaging learning experiences, exciting games, and enjoyable activities that strengthened family involvement and supported the children's holistic growth and development.

The Local Government Unit of Dulag extends its heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this activity. Through the unwavering dedication and cooperation of our teachers, parents, and partners, we remain committed to nurturing happy, healthy, and empowered young learners while building a brighter future for every child in our community.

Empowering the youth begins through meaningful conversations and strong partnerships.

Heartfelt gratitude is extended to Cabacungan National High School for inviting the Local Youth Development Officer (LYDO) to serve as the Resource Person during the Symposium on Teenage Pregnancy and Youth-Related Issues. The opportunity to engage with students and discuss issues affecting today's youth is truly appreciated.

Special thanks to Ma'am Carla Capili Adonis for her dedication to guiding and inspiring her students and for her continued support of the youth development initiatives of LGU Dulag. Appreciation is also extended to the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Cabacungan National High School for their leadership, commitment, and hard work in making this meaningful activity a success.

In our continuous effort to empower the youth through skills training and livelihood opportunities, the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and the Dulag Youth Development Office (DYDO), in partnership with TESDA, World Vision, and ISUZU, proudly invite all Out-of-School Youth and interested young individuals aged 16–23 years old from the Municipality of Dulag, Leyte to the Project Orientation on the TESDA Auto Mechanic Training Centre (AMTRAC) Project Scholarship on November 21, 2025 (Friday), from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN, at the Cultural Gymnasium, Dulag, Leyte!

This half-day orientation will give you everything you need to know about the scholarship program, its qualifications, and how to kickstart your journey in technical-vocational education paving the way toward employment, self-reliance, and a brighter future!
