Years ago, the Taytay-Iphag-Gapas Irrigators Association (TIGIA), Inc. in Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Jaro, Leyte carried out its activities in a humble bahay kubo that served as the association's office in 2020. Within its walls, meetings were held, plans were discussed, and decisions were made for the benefit of the farming community. It was a place where members came together with a common goal of improving irrigation services and strengthening their association through cooperation and shared responsibility.
The TIGIA office today reflects how far the association has progressed through the years. The concrete structure completed in 2023 and now standing in its place serves as a center for coordination, planning, and member engagement, while also symbolizing the collective efforts that helped make its development possible. From its early days to the present, the office has remained a witness to the association's journey, marking the milestones achieved and the commitment of its members to building a stronger future for their community.
