This milestone marks a significant improvement from last yearโs accomplishment rate, which ranged only from 3% to 17%. The full compliance reflects the strengthened commitment of SK officials in adhering to their mandates under the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act, as amended, and the guidelines set by the National Youth Commission and the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
This achievement stands as a strong testament to the cityโs efforts in promoting transparency, accountability, and effective youth governance. It also highlights the growing capacity of SK Councils to fulfill their responsibilities in program monitoring and reporting.
The LYDO commends all SK officials for this collective accomplishment and remains committed to sustaining support mechanisms that will further enhance compliance, performance, and integrity in youth governance across Legazpi City.
