OPLAN BANDILLO, Crime Prevention Awareness, and Safety Information Drive

On September 6, 2026, Pat Jielson G Sabacahay, CAD PNCO and Pat Elvin Jun B Nangkil, Asst. CAD, under the direct supervision of PCPT MARK ANTHONY G APSAY, Officer-in-Charge of Police Station 5, LCPO, conducted police visibility/ presence, and information drive through Oplan Bandillo with in the area of Barangay Ibo, Lapu-Lapu City.

This initiative aimed to raise public awareness on crime prevention and to promote safety and security tips among residents, reinforcing the community’s partnership with the police in maintaining peace and order.

Community Engagement through Dialogue and Distribution of IEC Materials

On Eptember 6, 2026, Pat Jielson G Sabacahay, CAD PNCO, and Pat Elvin Jun B Nangkil, Asst. CAD, under the direct supervision of PCPT MARK ANTHONY G APSAY, Officer-in-Charge of PS5, LCPO, conducted an enhanced police presence, information drive through dialogue and distributed Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials on Crime Prevention, Effects of E-Sabong, the Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign in line with the Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) initiatives, and Anti-Terrorism Awareness in relation to NTF-ELCAC to the Residents at Island Central Mall, Barangay Ibo, Lapu-Lapu City.

This initiative aims to raise public awareness, enhance vigilance, and promote active community participation, as part of the continuing effort to maintain peace, order, and security within the community.

On sEPTEMBER 5, 2026, Pat Ariel A Sullano, PSB, under the direct supervision of PCPT MARK ANTHONY G APSAY, Officer-in-Charge of Police Station 5, together with the BPSO of Barangay Ibo, conducted anti-criminality operations including Oplan Bulabog and Oplan Bakal Sita, as well as the strict enforcement of city ordinances within the area of responsibility at Barangay Ibo, Lapu-Lapu City.

The activity aimed to maintain peace and order, flush out criminal elements, and ensure the safety of the community.

On September 5, 2026, personnel of this station, under the direct supervision of PCPT MARK ANTHONY G APSAY, Officer-in-Charge of Police Station 5, conducted a proactive and preventive foot patrol within the area of responsibility of this station, to strengthen police visibility and enhance public safety within the community.
