APPROVED: Draft Provincial Appropriation Ordinance No. 2026-01-040 — a major investment in the future of Ilocano athletes and sports excellence in the province.

The ordinance appropriates ₱7,870,100.00 from the PAGCOR Host City Share to support the implementation of the Long-Term Athlete Development Training Camp under the Ilocos Norte Sports Institute and Research (INSPIRE) initiative. Hon. Eldritze C. Viernes, together with Ms. Helen Rose Domingo, Sports Development Officer IV, presented the appropriation ordinance to the august body, which was approved on first and final reading, ensuring timely and effective support for the province’s athletes.
