Saint Lorenzo Ruiz, the first Filipino saint and martyr, was a devoted husband, father, and lay Dominican who remained faithful to Christ even in the face of persecution. His unwavering courage and trust in God became a powerful witness to the strength of faith and the grace of remaining steadfast in one's beliefs.

His life reminds us that faithfulness to Christ requires courage, conviction, and complete trust in God's will. May his example inspire us, especially the Filipino faithful and the youth, to stand firm in our faith, remain committed to the Gospel, and serve God with sincerity and dedication.

Saint Lorenzo Ruiz, faithful Filipino martyr and courageous witness of Christ, intercede for us and bring our prayers before the Lord. Pray for the Filipino people, especially the young, that we may grow in faith, remain committed to the teachings of Christ, and become faithful witnesses of the Gospel in our families and communities.

Ask the Lord to strengthen those who are facing trials, give courage to those who are struggling to stand for what is right, and guide those who are experiencing doubts and difficulties in their faith. Teach us to remain steadfast in our devotion to God, to live with integrity, and to place our complete trust in His grace. May your example remind us that no hardship can separate us from the love of Christ when we remain faithful to Him. Amen.
