Mula sa pagiging volunteer, youth leader, at tagapagtaguyod ng kabataan, si Asec. Michael Christophe R. Agustin ay itinalaga bilang Commissioner Representing Luzon ng National Youth Commission.

Isa itong panibagong kabanata hindi lamang para kay Comm. Mikyong kundi para rin sa Sirib Ilokano Kabataan Association, sapagkat siya na ang ikatlong Sirib member na naging Commissioner ng National Youth Commission, kasunod nina Atty. James Ceasar A. Ventura at Asec. Gervy James N. Gumarit.

Hindi ito kuwento ng swerte. Kuwento ito ng mga taong piniling maglingkod kahit walang titulo, hanggang sa dumating ang panahong sila na mismo ang tinawag upang mamuno.

During the 48th Regular Session of the 13th Sangguniang Panlungsod of Laoag City, resolutions of commendation were passed and approved in recognition of Laoagueรฑo athletes who brought pride and honor to the city through their outstanding performances at the Palarong Pambansa held in Agusan del Sur. Their achievements are a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence in sports.

Around 400 young Laoagueรฑos came together as beneficiaries of the Raniag Asenso Agtutubo Program of the City Government and received their educational assistance through the Laoag City Youth Development Office (LYDO).

Institutionalized through City Ordinance No. 13SP-2026-046 and supported by City Mayor James Bryan Alcid, the program continues to support students under its various scholarship classifications, helping ease the financial burden of education and encouraging the youth to pursue their goals with confidence.
