Tagodtod National High School once again ignited the flame of unity, strength, and school pride as it officially opened the much-awaited Intramural 2025 on September 11, with the theme “One spirit, one goal: discipline, camaraderie, and sportsmanship for all.
The program was smoothly facilitated by Mr. Alexis B. Piscador, Master of Ceremonies.
The program began with a solemn prayer led by Mr. Excelsis Deo Tubice, TM for Boxing, followed by the heartfelt singing of the National Anthem conducted by Mr. Carlo Keith Garcia, TM for Chess. Afterwards, the Oath of Sportsmanship was led by Ashley Kylle Martinez, a CARAA bronze medalist, reminding every player to carry integrity and fairness in every game.
The event was graced with the warm welcome remarks and presentation of the different units by our dedicated School Sports Coordinator, Mrs. Rhina Charlita A. Parado.
The message was entrusted to Mrs. Lorna Niu Martinez, who represented Hon. Portia A. Pagaling, Barangay Captain of Tagodtod. Her presence inspired the athletes and students to give their best not only in the games but also in promoting unity and discipline.
The energy soared with the Cheerdance Competition, where teams electrified the crowd with their powerful chants, spirited movements, and unbreakable energy. An inspiring intermission number was also performed by Michael Dao-ayan, a talented Grade 11 student, with a song that entertained the audience and added more life to the program.
A moving moment was the Lighting of the Urn, led by the CARAA players, symbolizing the official opening of the games. Mrs. Parado also gave a brief orientation of the activities, ensuring that everyone was prepared and guided for the friendly battles ahead.
The formal declaration of the Intramural 2025 was proudly made by Mr. Herminio M. Dacquel Jr., the beloved principal of TNHS, sealing the start of an exciting week of competition. This was followed by the Hoisting of the Banners by the muses and team captains, waving the colors of unity and sportsmanship high into the air.
With discipline in every step, camaraderie in every cheer, and sportsmanship in every game, Intramural 2025 promises to be not just a celebration of athletic skills but also a reminder of the bond that ties the TNHS family together.
Truly, one spirit, one goal lives within every TNHS student.
