As the dust settles on the Cordillera Administrative Region Athletic Association (CARAA) Meet 2026, which officially concluded last February 27, we at Alno National High School find ourselves looking back on the past few weeks with a mix of emotions, exhaustion, yes, but more importantly, with
This year marked a historic milestone for our school. For the very first time, Alno National High School was chosen as one of the official billeting schools for the CARAA delegates. The honor of hosting the athletes, coaches, and chaperones from ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐๐ข๐ง ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐๐ was both a privilege and a tremendous responsibility. And we, as a school community, embraced it wholeheartedly.
When we first learned that our school would be opening its doors to the delegates, we knew that a great deal of work lay ahead. The weeks leading to the event were filled with painting sessions and manual labor under the sun. There were days when our bodies ached from cleaning classrooms, weeding the grounds, and adding finishing touches to our school buildings. We encountered small setbacks: paint that dried too quickly, unexpected weather, and the usual exhaustion that comes with physical work. But looking back, every drop of sweat was worth it. Those moments taught us that preparation is not just about fixing facilities; it is about preparing our hearts to serve.
When the delegates finally arrived and settled into our school, a different kind of energy filled the campus. We saw our teachers, staff, and even some students working together as one unit, attending to the needs of our guests, ensuring their comfort and safety, and making sure that their stay in Alno was as pleasant as possible. It was not always perfect. There were moments of miscommunication and logistical hiccups that challenged us. But these small struggles became opportunities for us to practice patience, adaptability, and problem-solving. We learned to listen more, to coordinate better, and to trust one another's capabilities. The experience strengthened the bond among us, teachers, parents, and community volunteers, and reminded us that teamwork is not just about working together; it is about growing together.
From the bottom of our hearts, ๐๐ฅ๐ง๐จ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐ ๐ก ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ extends its deepest gratitude to the delegates of ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐๐ข๐ง ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐๐ for trusting us to be your home during this regional competition. It was our honor to serve you, and we hope that your stay with us was comfortable and memorable.
We are also profoundly grateful to the ๐๐๐ง๐ค๐๐ฒ๐๐ง ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ญ for serving as the host school of this year's CARAA. Your leadership and coordination made this event possible, and we are proud to have played a small part in its success.
To our ๐ญ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ฌ, ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ญ ๐๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ซ ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ง๐ฌ, ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ, ๐ฏ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐ซ๐ฌ , iyaman launay for your hard work and your unwavering spirit of ๐๐ข๐ง๐ง๐๐๐๐ง๐ .
We proved that even as first-timers, we could rise to the challenge and deliver.
Alno National High School may be small, but our heart for service is boundless. This CARAA 2026 experience will forever be etched in our history, not just as a task completed, but as a journey that made us better, stronger, and more united. โค๏ธ
