DAR, La Carlota LGU plan joint land survey

LA CARLOTA CITY, October 28, 2025 — The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of La Carlota City held a strategic planning meeting at the City Mayor’s Office to outline a joint survey aimed at enhancing land management and addressing related issues.

Present during the meeting were Engr. Joanne Mae J. Galarosa and Engr. Paul Timothy T. Gico from Housing and Homesite Regulation, Engr. Jose Ainar T. Apdol from the City Planning and Development Office, Engr. Alberto Lorico Jr. from the City Engineer’s Office, Engr. Xuchille Krisha Mae Rivas, Geodetic Engineer, Jerico D. Jalandoni from the City Assessor’s Office, Tone J. Empiales from the Housing Staff, Eraniel Cabardo, MARPO/DAR, and Sheila Marie Sevelejo, SARPT/DAR.

The meeting aimed to plan a joint inspection by DAR and the LGU to develop effective land management solutions in coordination with the City Assessor’s Office.

Pinangunahan ni DAR Secretary Conrado M. Estrella III ang paglagda ng Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), kasama ang Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) upang pag-isahin ang mga polisiya, gawing simple ang pagpaparehistro, at higit pang paunlarin ang Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs) sa buong bansa.
