Negros Occidental Impact (NOI) 2025 Project Turn-Over Ceremony of La Carlota City
This event that took place at Seda Hotel Bacolod is attended by the outgoing Mayor and LHB Chairman Hon. Rex R. Jalando-on, Hon. Stephen Simbit, SP Member and Chairman-Committee on Zonification and Resettlement, Engr. Jose Ainar Apdol (CPDC & LHB Task Force Head), Engr. Paul Timothy Gico (Housing Officer II), Punong Brgy. Jervy Advincula (Brgy. 2), Tina Lou Beriones, Hannah de los Reyes - LHB Task Force Members and the Home Owners Association (HOA) Officers of the Luis Jalandoni Village, Brgy. Ayungon.
The Habitat for Humanity and Hilti Foundation awarded two Plaques of Appreciation and Thanks to Gov. Jose Eugenio Lacson and Mayor Rex R. Jalando-on for their partnership with the mentioned institutions in addressing the lack of affordable and decent housing for the families in need of La Carlota City.
Engr. Jose Ainar Apdol and Punong Brgy. Jervy Advincula received Certificates of Appreciation for their vital contributions - Advincula for providing logistical support in the implementation of community development initiatives for the beneficiaries, and Engr. Apdol for his valuable support that led to the successful construction of 100 houses.
Mayor Rex R. Jalando-on will continue his work even after leaving office, as he considers it his lasting legacy to the city - land for the landless and home for the homeless.
